In addition to breakfast, sausages, eggs, waffles, buns, cereals, milk, coffee, and fruit, as well as gourmet food made on-site, good food! The most want to say is that here and the Hilton on the edge of the airport, not comparable, but the price is almost! If you rent a car, get together for 10 minutes. The suite is two TVs, but watching TV sleeps does not interfere with each other! The bridge outside the window is golden! There is a microwave in the refrigerator, but it is not big.

Advantages: Marriott's mid- to high-end hotels, close to Sutter fort park. Ten minutes walk, strategic location, next to a supermarket (five minutes walk. You can google map), English service throughout the hotel, warm service, standard buffet Western food It's quite satisfactory, there is a gym, the room size is ok, I have a triple room with my parents, there is a sofa bed, there is an open kitchenette, complete utensils, including a microwave refrigerator, you can cook by yourself Disadvantages: There are no slippers, no dental toiletries in the room, and during the Chinese holidays, Ctrip's house price has tripled. The actual front desk reservation is only $ 119, Xiaokeng (American Spring Festival). Fortunately, I stayed one night and one night. Then found this problem and booked it at the front desk, no use of agent

-There was trash outside of the rear entrance of Folsom wing, like a homeless person lived there. -The wing rear entrance door needed to be forced shut to lock. There were serval shoe prints on the outside of the door where people kicking it to close and lock. -There was trash in the parking lot that had been there for days judging by a package of tilapia that had been run over several times and was infested with maggots. -The cable TV in my room did not work. -I asked the front desk for breakfast vouchers because the TV did not work. They said yes, but when I went to get the vouchers in the morning the front desk said no and that there was no manager on duty.

My husband & I recently stayed overnight to see KISS at the Aftershock Festival at Discovery Park. We were very pleased. The Hotel is clean, modern & bright. Hotel is next to the Freeway but we hardly noticed any noise. The complimentary breakfast was good, something for everyone, fresh fruit, toast, bagels, cereal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, make your own waffle station, juice & coffee. We felt very safe as it is near an industrial area and we noticed a few unhoused individuals nearby. The property is fenced & gated. You must scan your room key at the front door to enter the Hotel at night. They also have a security guard from 6pm-6am. There was a nice looking pool but we didn't get a chance to use it. The only downside was there's no food/restaurants nearby and they do charge for parking, $8.50/night, but that's not bad. They do offer snacks & beverages for purchase in the Lobby and there's always UberEats. Another Hotel is being built nextdoor, so maybe a few food places will be built in the future. We will definitely stay again. Farrah & Lorena at the front desk were awesome. The were very welcoming, friendly and answered all our questions regarding ordering an Uber, parking & breakfast hours.

GGuest UserThe room had a dank, musty smell (a friend stayed in another room and his smelled the same), there were stains on the carpet and the desk legs, the towels had stains that looked like everything from makeup to neon paint, the pillowcases had makeup on them, the shower floor was peeling, the curtains were discolored, there were long black hairs in the bedsheets when I arrived, the inside of the Keurig was rusted. The pool area had no towels and the pool bathroom was locked and even after I went inside to let the front desk know this, it was another 10 minutes before someone came out to unlock the bathroom, but they did not have the right key, and we had to go inside and use a hallway bathroom. On my last morning, I called the front desk to have coffee cups and a spoon brought to my room, and was told room service would bring the cups but that i would need to come to the front desk for the spoon. The cups never arrived and an hour later, I checked out of the room. I have backpacked my way through Central America, staying in hostels, and this was my worst accommodation ever experienced.

GGuest UserOverall: would stay again! Nice hotel, room, bar, food, very convenient location. LOCATION: Convenient! Right next to DOCO and the Golden 1 Center. Old Sac is a few minutes walk away. Public transport nearby. HOTEL: The decor was a lovely, sophisticated, modern take on various historical periods. Music is a theme, nodding to the historic past of the building. Balcony bar - Art Deco. Clean, eye-catching, charming. Emerald velvet chairs and gold-toned metal accents, whimsical 1920’s & ‘30’s music playing overhead, and servers dressed in simple roaring ‘20’s attire. Menu: Small bites. Phyllo baked brie, oysters, ahi poke, short ribs, Asian lettuce wraps, and more. 1st floor restaurant - “7th Street Standard”, is the name. Bright & elegant with simplicity. This restaurant can be a standalone; it’s better than a “hotel restaurant” in food quality, artistry, and presentation. Didn’t eat here this time, but have before. I recall everything being good! Great drinks last time!! Had happy hour drinks this time ($10), still great! Handcrafted, fresh, subtle sweetness for balance, nothing syrupy or fake-colored (reg price $15). Happy hour food and drinks available 3-6pm. Full menu includes trout, salmon, pork belly, and other goodies. ROOM: I like the decor. The lamps were cool: gold dipped bulbs, bronze-colored cones, retro meets are deco feel. There’s a handy motion-censored light under the bathroom vanity when you don’t want to turn on a bright light at night, light-framed mirror for easy getting ready, spacious bathroom. Views from my particular room were not worth seeing. Good blackout curtains in-room, lots of natural light when open. Bathroom basics included: shampoo, conditioner, lotion soap. Not included: q-tips, cotton balls, etc. The mini fridge could fit some small leftover food boxes. Plenty of outlets near the bed. I don’t recall any food snacks offered for sale. $5 Fiji. Open rack closet, and drawers available. I believe my room was 320 sqft, with enough space to roll out a mat and do a room workout, if that’s your thing (or gym on 4th floor). AREA OFFERINGS: There’s a Starbucks Reserve steps from the hotel and many places to eat, drink & entertain within easy walking distance (steakhouse, bowling alley, movies, rooftop pool bar, beer vault, and SO much more!). While it’s a nice area (million-dollar condos and attractions next door), another block over in one direction becomes a not-so-nice area (homelessness and refuse), so just be mindful of what direction you’re heading, if that bothers you. PARKING: There are unattended daily parking lots right next to the hotel ($13-$16ish/10hrs), hourly metered parking, attended hourly/daily lots, valet ($40 seems to get you 2-day parking with in & out privileges; I valeted early evening, pickup needed before 2:45-ish a.m. on the third day). Valet had a very easy texting system. They texted me my valet ticket with a clickable link to call my car when desired. The link let me know the progress of my incoming car (“requested”, “on the way”, “ready”), so I knew exactly when I needed to head out and could enjoy my time until then. You can tip through the link, too.

DDANThe room had a strong smell that we had to crack the window and turn on the air for the smell to go away, the place is old, so for the price of $130 a night is ok right? Well.. So I booked this room using trip.com app and because of that the front desk girl required me to pay $250 as a security deposit.. if not I had to leave, so if you add it up, to stay a night at this place in a so so room, I had to charge $129+$250 security deposit +10 parking = so after $390 I could have a night of sleep. I just hope I can get my deposit back as soon as possible. They said 5 to 7 days. So just you know before you go!

WWesley AtkinsonThe front desk attendant was very polite. The lobby was very clean and hade a nice aesthetic. So was (and did) my room. I was surprised that they had pump bottles for the shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. A little bummed that they weren't all the same scent though. Other bummers were that the curtains let in too much light. Easy enough to fix by rolling over, or putting a pillow in front of my face. It wasn't THAT bright. And the mini fridge was really loud when trying to cool off. This was also easily fixed. I just turned the thermostat to it's lowest setting. It was silent the rest of the stay. And not a bummer, but the heater is apparently controlled by the wall thermostat that I completely missed. Took longer than I'm willing to admit pressing the off button on the A/C unit. So all in all, I early enjoyed my stay! Oh, almost forgot the breakfast! It was your standard continental affair. Eggs (scrambled or hardboiled), sausage patties, toastable breads, griddle, yogurt, juice dispenser. All self serve of course. I was not able to review the pool. If it was ever open, it wasn't while I was there (I left before 9am and got back after 10pm every day).

RRobersonA Cool place to stay and good experience but nothing in my room worked. The outlets and usb did not work and could not plug my phone in. The tv was not clear and fuzzy. The hotel phone in the room did not work. The room did not have a blanket. The bathroom needed a good cleaning. The girl who checked us in was not not helpful and didn’t know about the hotel. She also told us to come back for ice then said she was the only one there and could not get it and told us to walk to the bar. The guy at the bar didn’t seem happy to leave the bar to get the ice. The food was good and the dinning staff was amazing.

GGuest UserWe have stayed at this location multiple times. Our most recent was 5/15/22. The hotel needs an upgrade but I was told by the front desk staff the hotel is being sold to the county or the state. This location is a hit or miss in the rooms. The towels, pot & pans, cups, forks, plates, ect are not always consistence. Some room are dirty, stinky, and have broken fixtures. They is no gym since the Covid Pandemic and the pool has been closed for a while. This location does not offer upgrades to Marriott Bonvoy members, which is a shame. Tina is the only positive.
