The hotel is an older and tired but well maintained and clean. The bellhop, John, made our stay fabulous. John is 5 star. The rooms were decent but air conditioning struggle to cool our room. Bathrooms were large and easily accommodated four adults. Rooms have a nice mini room with sink and coffee maker.

Our visit was off to a bad start when we called to confirm that we were booked in the King room that we requested. Not only were we not booked in a King room, but we our room had 2 double (not Queen!) beds. We asked to be moved to another room, but none were available. The entire hotel smelled like air freshener and the common areas were extremely dated. We arrived just after 4:00, the official check-in time. Unfortunately, our room wasn't ready until 6:00. The room was outdated and dreary, with ripped and dirty carpet. I didn't inspect the room thoroughly when I was finally checked in, as I was already late for our 6:00pm dinner. When I returned to the room that evening I realized that one of the beds had clearly not been changed! (Housekeeping did come up to change it). Additionally the floor in front of the air conditioning unit was wet! And the vent that blew the cold air from the air conditioner blew directly on our heads while we were sleeping. The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that the buffets for our lunches and dinners were pretty good. Breakfasts were not good, but at least there was a Starbucks to grab a yogurt. Please keep in mind that this hotel is a good half hour from the historic district. They do have a shuttle, but I believe it is only on weekends and times are somewhat limited.

We have stayed at the hotel several times. The food is excellent, rooms are spacious and immaculate, staff is welcoming and accommodating, and the entire World Golf Village area is beautiful! Golfer and traveler's jewel in St. Augustine!

The hotel was nice and front desk people were friendly. Only issue, when I booked it said $10/ day for parking but I got charge $12/day. I don’t know if there parking fee just went up. But the hotel is 25 minutes from down town st Augustine. A lot of other hotels in that area offer free parking.

Extremely outdated and dirty- can’t imagine how this meets renaissance standards, AC didn’t work , window leaked and carpet was wet mildewed, Coffee shop opens at 6 am as of 7 am they still hadn’t showed up and was told they overslept the lady at the restaurant was most gracious and gave us a coffee ,
