This place was great. Out first trip to St. Augustine. We will be coming back. Every one at the hotel was so helpful and polite. Location was great and a great starter breakfast. Location was great. . The trolley pick us at the hotel. Great fun great history. If you go make sure to visit the place with the Big Cross . You can walk around it and find out about a lot of history. Don't forget about the pool they have at hotel Great trip for young and old

Our stay was wonderful the place was so cozy and nice. Our room was big and clean, the service was quick. the location was right in St. Augustine. Everything was in walking distance.

It's an old property but it is in great shape! Rooms are very clean. We like it bc you can walk around to all the little shops and there is a trolley stop right on the property so we didn't have to drive at all during our stay. We got there at 4pm and check in took less than 5 min. We were able to buy trolley tickets at check in also.

It was a well maintained, managed, and friendly environment. The room and property overall were very clean. It was especially nice that the lights on the outside of the room were very bright and illuminated the area so clearly. I felt my vehicle and I were safe the entire stay. Breakfast was great too! well! I’m looking forward to visiting the area again and returning to the Villa. Definitely a hidden gem.

Staff really needs to work on cleaning or somone checking on the cleaning. The linens,beds, towels where all clean but the bathroom and floors really not in great shape. I found hair in the drain, nail clippings on bathroom floor, hair on the toilet etc.
For the price it really could use some more TLC.

We booked 2 rooms at this place and stayed for two nights. I was a little nervous because it was our first road trip with our twin babies but the staff was very helpful and accommodating. We got very nice, clean and recently remodeled rooms. It was very practical to have them connecting. Breakfast was included, it was a little cramped but good. Everything was close by, we walked everywhere and had such a wonderful time.

Villa 1565 is an old motel that has been renovated on the inside. It was nice and clean, the breakfast was atypical for any hotel. I feel if the exterior was renovated as well, it would make it feel and look better.
