I have taught at the University of St. Gallen twice a year for years, but never stayed at the Vadian. Don't be fooled by the two stars, it's a first-rate hotel, great location (a few blocks from the railway station and steps to the wildly Baroque abbey church). After more than 200 trips to Europe, I known European hotels, and the Vadian is great value.

Zentral gelegen, freundliche und hilfreiche Rezeption. Inchecken umständlich und Vereinfachung besonders empfohlen. Frühstück top. Parking draussen fuer chf 17 etwas teuer. Sonst Preis/Leistung angemessen.
