Highlands Hotel and Bar

Bulding is a bit aged, but in good repair and clean. Room was well presented with tea/coffee/biscuits in the room. Bathroom has obviously had a recent remake. Simon and Gary were both very friendly and helpful. I would definately rtecommend this hotel and if I am back in the area, would stay there again.

We were stranded as our car was locked in a car park and it was 1130pm.All hotels on the seafront were full and we were desperate so my son located this hotel. We phoned them and they said they could accommodate us. We made our way there by foot and the gentleman behind the bar greeted us enthusiastically. He gave us the keys to our room and we were pleased to find 2 double beds and a single bed all made up with clean linen and towels upon. We found it comfortable and very clean. The staff were there in the morning and were also very nice but we didn’t stay for breakfast as we needed to get home. We would like to thank the staff for there welcome if it wasn’t for them we would have spent a very cold night in a bus shelter.Thankyou.

booked to stay 14-15 feb but checked out early as bed was broken was very hard to get a responce reception was shut and phone numbers didn't get answered when did was told would call back still nothing at 15.44 room booked was diffrent to room that we was provided very poor and would not bother staying again or recommend anyone to stay they

It is very old building and bar only a small cark park so had hassle finding space on road. The manager was friendly enough .The room basic but it all worked so cant really complain .Furniture and decor could do with updating but thats not what i booked lol .Overall done the job and had a good night

Very welcoming, great hospitality..felt comfortable and homely. Staff were great very helpful and approachable would highly recommend a stay here or even a visit to the bar. 5 star all the way can’t wait to visit Hastings again and stay here again

Its wonderful welcoming entertaining beautiful tranquil and delightful and the rooms are spectacular and the hosts are of the highest standard and everyone within it. It was perfect for me and my wife to be, it made me love her even more

It makes Faulty Towers look like A sleek operation ....... Insulting staff and Rude staff, I will never return... Gary is the Wrong Manager...complete Proper piss head ! and An ADHD Case if I have ever met one.. ........who in Their right mind would ever put Him In Charge?.... Lovely Building .... Great High end Potential..... It could be so Fantastic........ just get the Hosts right... Its so Important..... very fair Prices......... I do have to admit.... Such a shame Your almost there !
