非常美麗的酒店，衞生好，服務好，早餐也很美味，安靜又便捷，距離彭贊斯火車站步行5分鐘，公交車周邊也很豐富，17去st ives小鎮，Lands去Minack Theater, U4去聖邁克爾山，從小鎮16或者160也可以回酒店
步行10分鐘有一家非常好吃的餐廳，Alverne Restaurant & Lounge

A strange hotel with good and bad. Our room was excellent, overlooking Penzance harbour. It was spacious, well designed. clean and modern. We could not fault the room. The restaurant was not so good. There was a very limited menu and as we sat down we were told that several dishes were off. Normally as you arrive at a table a waiter or the owner tells you what is 'on' or what is 'special', but here we were quickly told what was 'off'! For desserts, four ice cream varieties were on the menu, but two were 'off'. There was also no decaffeinated coffee. The service was a bit amateur and the wines very average. We don't eat much for breakfast, just coffee and maybe a croissant, but the breakfast (which was not included in the room price) was £18 per head. So naturally we ate breakfast in town at half the price. Does the Management not realise that many people today want a Continental Breakfast for say £7-8 per head? So overall, situation and rooms excellent, service and restaurant not so good.

Very disappointed with our stay at The Hotel Penzance. Very limited menu in the restaurant. I asked for coffee to follow the meal and was served with a very weak cappuccino.. The waiter apologised saying the coffee machine was not working very well. The same machine was there for breakfast for the rest of the week not working well. One morning I had to wait while a cleaner was getting herself a coffee while she was talking on her phone to a friend. Breakfast menus was also limited. The chief would cook fried eggs or an omelette. You could not have scrambled or boiled egg. Generally the service was very poor. I had chosen a four star hotel to have a bit of luxury and be waited on. I would have had better service at a Premier Inn. The Hotel Penzance is definitely not four star. The only thing in its favour is that it has beautiful sea views.

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Hotel Penzance. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel my reservation and let the Hotel know 24 hours before the check-in date because my mother fell ill suddenly. We managed to get refunds from other services in the area, including train tickets and entrance fees for St Michael's Mount, but Hotel Penzance refused to consider our exceptional situation for a refund. I understand that policies are in place for a reason, and typically, cancellations are only allowed up to 14 days in advance. However, given the sudden nature of my mother's illness, I hoped for some understanding and compassion from the hotel management. Despite multiple attempts to reach out and explain our situation, my emails went unanswered. This lack of response highlights how Hotel Penzance seems to value monetary aspects over personal circumstances and customer service. It's disheartening to see such indifference from a place that otherwise has a reputation for hospitality. I would strongly advise potential guests to consider this experience when choosing accommodation, especially if you value customer service and understanding in unexpected situations.
