Nice place- but my room NEVER got maid service and I had to fetch my own clean towels. They must charge extra for hot water-- since there was none in this shower-- despite calling the hotel's attention to it twice. I first tried to CALL reception but... the phone had no dial tone. Reception just said, "I only do the beach towels"... and never even recorded my complaint. Second try got as shrug and "I'll file for maintenance." Food was on par but you will wait forever for it to find you.
Bottom line- on my "never again" list because of the ABSENCE of service and lack of basics (like a warm shower- or maid service). On a scale of 100 Emerald Beach gets a 15 for location (after a small deduction for airplane noise (the runway id literally at the foot of the property) and zeros for facility overall and service. Find another place to stay.

Location is perfect, very nice beach, all rooms face the ocean. Little outdated but clean. Easy transportation to go anywhere in the island. Restaurant is ok for the beach.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Emerald Beach. Beautiful view and comfortable rooms. Staff was pleasant and helpful when needing something like a cab. Would stay there again.

Very close to airport but nothing around, clean big rooms, freindly staff, nice pool, very good beach front. On sunday only one choice to eat and they only had one server, one hour wait for breakfast.

Nice beach and close location to airport. Food at restaurant is average, great wine list, and service was decent at dinner. Service was abysmal at breakfast. Front desk staff not helpful. Didn't tell is where anything was, including our room (ice, pool, restaurant, etc). Nice beach bar and the woman bartender there during the day was great...very quick even when she was super busy. This place has potential but needs better management and attention to detail

Great room views, gorgeous beach. The bar and dining areas are not pleasant. Staff wasn’t friendly at all. Poor breakfast service. Overall average to good experience.
