Booking at Le Mandala was a complete mistake! The day before we arrived, we were informed by phone that this hotel had no hot water and that we would have to go to another hotel.
After we had visited the Hotel Le Mandala, all the doors were locked and a note said that we had to call!
In our eyes, nothing was right and we had the impression that the hotel was perhaps closed for financial reasons.
After some tough discussions, we were relocated to the other hotel, La Ponche. We had already paid for the accommodation in advance. The staff at La Ponche were helpful and correct.
I would never book at Le Mandala again!

Second visit and still perfect! Very well located and very welcoming staff (all staff: both night and day reception). Small downside: the north-facing rooms are a little cool.

I want to give a special shoutout to the staff at Hotel Le Mandela, they were absolutely amazing and so nice to us. We weren’t able to speak French and they helped us with getting taxis and negotiating with drivers. They made our stay very comfortable and I highly recommend them for their generosity and kind services!! It was also a close 10 min walk to the city town and the hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Very nice, modern rooms, in a quiet boutique hotel. About a 12 minute walk from the port. Close enough to walk to dinner, a couple of blocks away from the traffic. We highly recommend this hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful with our reservations and suggestions.

Very small room, the impression of being in a corridor, not comfortable bed too small and finally a very narrow corridor to go up 2 floors with luggage not easy. The hotel is really located in the center and the parking is appreciable.
