"This hotel is a few minutes' drive from the port of Saint-Tropez, but the scenery is nice and quiet. There is a small yard where you can drink tea and do some activities. The waiters are also very enthusiastic and the service is thoughtful! Recommended!"

"I was there for a wedding and when getting prepared electricity went off. Not able to use the iron for my dress neither the blow dryer. Tried to call the host without any answer. Had to run in all st tropez under 40degres to find a solution that cost me 150euros. The host did only send a text message 2 hours later saying it came back without even apologizing. The next day he said he will refund a part of the room night however never replied back to a single call or message since three weeks. Also the day before my arrival I call to understand if I was staying in a room or apparement and he got upset saying I don’t get why you are calling everything is written on the confirmation. There is no place to make coffee in the property (even 2 stars hotels does), room is basic. He was nice at the arrival though but not reliable and trustworthy at the end."

"My stay at La Mandarine was honestly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel so welcome, and the warmth and genuine care from the entire team really stood out. I work in hospitality myself, so I naturally notice the details when I stay at hotels, and I can genuinely say I was blown away by the level of service here. The team went far beyond what I expected and made me feel incredibly looked after throughout my stay. On my first day, my room unfortunately wasn’t ready when I arrived, and I had an important event to get ready for. Rather than leaving me to worry, the team went completely above and beyond and closed the spa especially for me so that I could have somewhere to get ready. I have to give a very special mention to Emilie from the Spa. She was absolutely wonderful. She was so warm, reassuring and attentive, and she helped me get ready while also helping me calm down before my event. At a moment when I was feeling quite stressed, her kindness made such a difference. I will genuinely remember that gesture. I also want to mention Zoé, Argyro and Olivier, who were all fantastic and made me feel so welcome. Every interaction with the team felt personal and genuine, it never felt like they were simply doing their jobs, but that they genuinely cared about making our stay special. Another lovely touch was being personally greeted by the General Manager. It really says a lot about the culture of the hotel when senior management takes the time to personally welcome guests. The service, warmth and attention to detail throughout our stay were simply outstanding. La Mandarine has that rare combination of luxury and genuine hospitality, where you feel incredibly well looked after without it ever feeling forced or formal. As someone who works in hospitality, I can honestly say that I left genuinely impressed. The team should be incredibly proud of themselves. A huge thank you to everyone at La Mandarine, and especially Emilie, Zoé, Argyro and Olivier, for making my stay so memorable. I absolutely loved my time here and would return in a heartbeat. "Hospitality by the staff is second to none. You are treated as one of their own. Even if there are 2 or 3 others at reception (hardly happens) you get each members' fullest attention. The women at the reception are exceptional and extremely friendly and the concierge can get it done! The shuttle drivers to the beach and town are patient and reliable. The place is excellent, stayed 3 nights during the off season and it was fantastic couldn't have been happier and more relaxing. Cabins are as pictured, clean, spacious, with much light in the day. The grounds, pool are what you see, elegantly designed and very nice. Thank you, hope to be back."

"The staff is incredible, kind, professional and simply lovely. The design of the room is a little bit quirky and weird… I had a round bed and a round shower and no desk in the room so if you’re planning on sharing the room with someone the shower is completely open and right at the entrance. I think the design of the room needs a rework but other than that it was a great stay, breakfast is lovely and the location is incredible"
