Overall, it was an okay experience, but definitely not what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel.
The hotel is located in a very remote, desert area. It feels quite isolated and far from the city. The beach not suitable for swimming
The room itself was fine, but the hygiene products were very poor quality and definitely need improvement. These little details matter when you’re staying in a 5-star hotel.
The kids club is actually a nice the staff are kind with the children. However, the limited hours (only 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening) are inconvenient for families.
Also, there was daily drilling going on very close to our room, which was extremely annoying and disruptive, especially when trying to relax or get some rest.

I stayed at Fanar Hotel in Salalah as a solo traveler and had a great time. The location is beautiful, right by the beach, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and easy access to nearby attractions. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay 🤗
