Al Baleed Resort has great location with miles of unspoilt white sand beach. Eating options are limited to only 3 restaurants.
The breakfast at the Salkana restaurant is extremely good with great service from all the staff. However, the dinner buffet for the Indian night was below average with some dishes that did NOT do justice to the Indian Cuisine. There is much room for improvement on food quality and taste.
The Al Mina restaurant (Mediterranean Cuisine) was very disappointing in terms of vegetarian options and general service. On one occasion we had to wait 40 minutes before even the bread & olive oil were brought to the table!

The resort wes amazing and staff were very friendly. Everything in the hotel were above standard including the breakfast however the price was high

Overall one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Side note; I live in the UAE, where 5 stars hotel are really common.
The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, the beds super comfy and the washrooms are every woman's dream (lightning, mirrors and amouage amenities).
Staff is super attentive, accommodating and naturally friendly. They actually love what they do and we as guests can feel it's authenticity - which makes everything dining experience really special. The food was beyond delicious and the variety in the buffet made it hard to choose and even harder to not overeat.
Congratulations to the management and leadership of the hotel team - you truly do an amazing job.
I will definitely be back!

Even we have stayed at many Anantara properties around this world, the Al Baleed Resort Salalah resort hols special position in our hearts. Our recent three nights stay have been fantastic as our previous trips. Totally enjoyed the relaxing experience. It is the first luxury resort in Salalah, the hotel still looks beautiful and well maintained as before. Our villa room is spacious and comfortable. The beach is quiet and beautiful. We have tried every restaurant. Good food offering and pleasant service. Lovely to see local people to dine too. We feel that it’s important to experience the hotel as part of the community rather than an exclusive destination only for international travellers. Difficult to nominate individual staff member. Each and everyone of them has been polite and helpful. Thumbs up to many of them were willing to engage customers on personal in order to provide more detailed services. Despite there are many new hotels in Salalah, this will be the place we return. Hopefully very soon.

Everything from the room to the food was beyond our expectation. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, also nice and polite. We've enjoyed our stay so much, we're already missing it.

Wir durften 4 Nächte in einer Beach Pool Villa genießen, die wirklich keine Wünsche übrig ließ. Die A**osphäre im Resort war sehr angenehm & erholsam. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen in allen Restaurants war top und sehr authentisch - alles stets frisch zubereitet und an den Tisch gebracht. Besonders hervorzuheben: unsere Villa stand uns bis am Abend kostenlos zur Verfügung, da unser Flug erst spätabends angesetzt war. Dies hat uns wirklich sehr beeindruckt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder !

Wir waren 8 Nächte in einer Garden Pool Villa und genossen jeden einzelnen Tag. Das ganze Resort ist wunderschön und sauber. Der grosse Infinity Pool hatten wir praktisch für uns allein und die Wassertemperatur war extrem angenehm. Speziell zu erwähnen ist das Essen, die Auswahl im Buffetrestaurant war riesig und täglich abwechselnd. Die Qualität des Essen war extrem hoch. Was uns an diesem Resort am besten gefallen hat, waren jedoch die Mitarbeiter, Jeder Einzelne war so freundlich und herzlich zu uns. Besonders Asad und Yashi im Sakalan haben alle unser Wünsche erfüllt. Mohi hat am Grillbuffet alles frisch zubereitet und uns direkt an den Tisch gebracht. Wir hatten in der ersten Nacht Probleme mit einer defekten und lauten Klimaanlage, haben es am nächsten Morgen gemeldet und es wurde sofort gelöst von Tara, wir haben ein anderes Zimmer erhalten und alles lief reibungslos. Wir hatten mit der Gästebelegung des Hotelresorts Glück, da es nicht Hauptsaison war und das ganze Restaurantpersonal hat sich für uns sehr viel Zeit genommen und uns sogar die Teller vom Buffet zum Tisch gebracht. Das einzige, was eher negativ war, sind die teuren Getränkepreise in den Restaurants. Jedoch würden wir sofort wieder diese Hotel buchen, da es für uns einfach von A-Z perfekt war.

Nous avons été surclassé dans une villa avec une petite piscine. Tout le personnel est exceptionnel. Assad, Khalid, Lok, Bilal.... Tout le monde vraiment était au petit soin pour notre séjour. La nourriture est variée. Mon frère et moi avons passé un agréable moment.
