I am a single traveler, recently I have been travel around Uk and Dubin, I stay at Ashcroft Apartment over two weeks, this apartment is very suitable for single people, couples or family. here are some of my comments, Room--Super clean Comfortable Mattress and bedsheet, all rooms have an undercounter refrigerator (I am a cold drinks lover, so this is very important to me), also hair dryer and ironing board, Keyless door system that you don't need to keep the key card when you go out. Pantry---Cook whatever you want Modern furniture with good electric appliances include, flameless cooking stove, microwave machine and oven you can use here, it also provide fire pan, knife, cutting board and tableware, very suitable for who love to cook themselves in the journey. Location--Quiet district 2 mins walk to Sainsbury(9am-11pm supermarket), 10 mins walk to Eccles Metrolink station, Free car park all the time. Service--Very Kind and flexible staff(Or maybe he is the Boss) If you have any change on your schedule, you can leave them a message, they are very please to make arrangement for you, really appreciate. Thank you Matt & Colin.

The check in process was strange and confusing but once in the room was nice and we were able to relax on the comfortable bed. 4 pillows provided without having to ask was nice. The decor was also lovely and we had pretty much everything we needed. The road is noisy however so we had to listen to a lot of traffic, not to mention the inconsiderate guests in the room next door playing music and chatting at 5am, not the hotel's fault I suppose. It was extremely difficult to regulate the water temperature in the shower. The little milk cups were 5 months past the use by date so sadly we couldn't have a cuppa. Glad I noticed this!! It took 45 minutes to walk from the train station so not the best location for the city centre but we knew this before booking to be fair. There's a Lidl, McDonalds, ASDA and Tim Hortons nearby and a couple of nice parks. Overall I'd probably stay again if convenient to do so and hope for less selfish neighbours.

Stayed here for one night so we could go to a christening. 12 min Uber ride into town cost £9 so location is great :) Unfortunately the christening was at 2pm and we couldn’t check in until 4. I rang to enquire if we could check in early, but unfortunately it wasn’t possible but the owner was lovely. We left our car parked outside the hotel with our bags inside and just grabbed an Uber back there from town later on after the christening ceremony so we could check in, the host was really friendly and check in was very easy and quick (would be good to have a little sign on the door saying to call the mobile phone number on the booking if no one is at reception as we pressed the call bell lots of times before another guest came out and told us they had stood there pressing the bell for ages too and that we needed to call the mobile number) . Room was very nice for the bargain price, just a standard room, nice and clean, the art work was Manchester themed which is always nice to see the place your visiting reflected in the hotel. There were cups and coffee/tea etc but we couldn’t find a kettle anywhere in the room. Bed was nice and comfy, slept well :) Would stay here again and would recommend.

Reading the previous reviews, it makes me wonder if we stayed at the same hotel! We've just spent two nights here over the Easter weekend. The room was great (booked a superking), but the breakfast was not good at all. On checking in, the reception staff warned us several times that it can get very 'chaotic' at peak times and we should avoid those times. It wasn't the 'chaos' that was the problem, it was a very limited choice of food coupled with poor management. The first morning there was no fruit available apart from some oranges, and on asking for some I was told the fruit compote had run out (this wasn't at the end of the breakfast service either). Eventually some bananas were brought out. On the second morning the fruit compote was actually frozen (I literally had to cut the strawberries with a knife, and my partner couldn't eat his). There are only four hot items served, so on some days there are no eggs because there's eg hash browns instead. The sausages were so awful I didn't eat mine (& I always clear my plate!) On one of the days the croissants had run out, again even though it was nowhere near the end of the breakfast period. The serving staff look overworked and stressed, and I feel very sorry for them as this is clearly not a well-managed hotel.
