It was my second year in row there. The pool was still closed for "repair" and the hotel was still under "renovation". I won't be going back.

While the exterior of the hotel is nice. It’s going through renovations. We were not aware of that before booking. It wasn’t until money was paid and the paper was fully read that we discovered many of the amenities were unavailable ( pool, gym, laundry). The breakfast was very mediocre and unfortunately not health conscious. So I had to spend additional money to eat.

The room was filthy but the bed was clean, the bathroom smelled like cigarettes, the furniture was worn and tattered and the carpet was beyond gross.

The hotel was under construction so almost nowhere to park and hotel was in bad shape. The room they put us in should not have been open. Wires were hanging out of the walls and no trash cans or iron. Really small tv. Shouldn’t have been open. Would’ve been hazardous for children.

This hotel has been under construction for more than a year... and it doesn't look any better. I stayed there in Aug. 2022, and again recently, Dec. 2023. Same areas are under construction. The pool area was under construction in Aug. 2022, and still is under construction TODAY! The room I stayed in was supposed to be one of the renovated rooms. Well, I called the front desk because I thought they put me in a room that wasn't cleaned. Someone from housekeeping came up. Although I could tell that the bathroom has been updated, the bathroom floor was dingy looking, the sink counter had dark finger print on it and the shower floor had spots on it. She insisted that it was clean because cleaned it with bleach. She says these stains will not come out. She wiped the bathroom counter and shower floor and sprayed some room freshener. Yes, some of these stains would not come out, because I pulled out my Lysol wipes and tried to get them out too. So, the bathroom was the only area in the room that was renovated (poorly). It didn't even have a toilet paper holder in the bathroom! So, it seems that the crew that did the renovations were sloppy, spilled stuff, dropped paint, touched the granite with dirty hands and didn't clean up when they made a mess/mistake. And it appears that the hotel management thinks this is OK. I will not be staying there again. Oh BTW, none of the furniture was replaced. Same dirty carpet and curtains too.

Very nice hotel, close to town, was close to to University which is where I was visiting. Highly recommend staying here!
