Very poor insulation in the rooms, you can hear everything that happens in neighboring rooms and in the corridor. Very good location with sea view, shops and restaurants nearby.

This hotel is basic and needs a good paint in rooms and balcony’s. On arrival we had to go back to reception and ask them to get someone to clean fridge and balcony as it was dirty. We paid a lot for the week’s stay and we’re a touch disappointed. The daily clean was spot on. The staff we found on some days rude not sure if it was a language barrier with some. They was kids football tournament on and all the kids stayed in the hotel they was a lot of them in the sister hotel but did not effect our stay. There was plenty of choice for food in the restaurant but personally the snack bar was better but we also eat out when abroad in the evenings . Really good location.

Definitely not 4 star as is on the building or even 3 star plus jet 2 rating. Badly needs a refit. Bathrooms grotty broken dirty tiling, shower flooded room as it wouldn't stay on holder. Cracked toilet, paint peeling off seat. Wardrobe broken wood. Uncomfortable beds, we were 3 ladies and got 2 single beds and a 'Fold up' bed which is only fit for a child, complained but they said had no other rooms free that had 3 beds in it. So why when you book 3 Adults do they put you in that room for a start? Fridge useless kept defrosting and was full of water, ruined our snacks. 2 very small slow hot lifts that take forever, not enough for size of hotel. Spa was closed all time we were there ! Outside main pool area had broken floor tiles that were very dangerous, an Abandoned pool bar. NO PARASOLS! It's in a good location if your fit as on a hill but close to shops, bars and restaurants. But very noisy as all hotels have entertainment outside til midnight. Small beach down very steep steps or slope nearby. Salou is a lively resort and felt very safe and I would return but Not to this hotel as we were very disappointed in it

The hotel is spot on for the location We were on the 8th floor with lovely views of the sea The food is OK and the rooms tidy Downside,if it rains ,the floor becomes lethal in the bar area due to all the leaks There are only 2 lifts which were always busy so had to often wait a while to go up ,especially as they are small If you need reception staff, expect a wait as there is likely only 1 on I was waiting in the queue for 30 mins to get a safe key There are no kettles in the rooms ,you can hire one for a 20 euro deposit Overall ,despite the above negatives,I would stay here again

We stayed here in August 2024- Firstly, I must advise people to not believe all the bad reviews on here about this hotel. We had 7 days here and got back home to the UK this week and we would have happily spent another week there; in fact, we wish we were still there now! Staff- We do not have a bad word about the staff at all. They were never rude to us; in fact, they were brilliant. They were all friendly, helpful and funny- our 14-year-old says that Nico and Adrian were her favourites as they were funny! They even humoured my awful attempts at speaking Spanish- they appreciated the gesture which was nice of them. Not all the workers understand English, but they do try and will get one that does if they cannot. On more than one occasion they helped me carry the wheelchair down the stairs. Yes, we gave small tips, but we feel that is only fair. In our family group were myself, my husband, our 3 daughters (aged 19, 14 and 12 years) and my mother-in-law (aged 84) who had a wheelchair and a walker. We went All- Inclusive and are very glad we did -as with 6 of us drinks, ice creams, food etc would have cost quite a lot, so I advise if you are going as a larger group/family to go All-inclusive. The all-inclusive non-alcoholic, alcoholic drinks and cocktails are clear- the staff tell you if it is included or not and there is plenty that is included to choose from (my favourite cocktail was the Guacamayo!). The all-inclusive ice creams are mini versions of normal ones (Cornetto, Magnum etc) and you can have as many as you like. All-Inclusive finishes at 23:00 but as a family group this did not bother us as we would get a couple of drinks before 23:00 to take to our room as we were usually up early to go out and about. The pool snack bar did not cater for All inclusive between the times that the hotel restaurant was open for all-inclusive food- this was not an issue for us – we were happy to either have lunch in the restaurant -there was a good selection of food or generally as we had been out for the morning the snack bar was open to all inclusive again at 3pm so we would have something then and have dinner in the restaurant around 8pm. Hotel- It is close to a lovely little cove beach and a short walk to the main beach. It is very close to local shops, a couple of pharmacies, a medical centre and there is a bus plana office across the road whose staff are very helpful. It is also close to the bus stops for Portaventura, Cambrills, La Pineda etc. It is not far from the town nightlife but you do not hear it (our room was a corner family suite above the hotel entrance and it was very quiet) The hotel is on a hill so if you have had a stroll down to the shops and are pushing a wheelchair or using a walking frame then you may need to have a couple of rest stops on the way back up! The hotel has a ramp up to reception. The hotel itself has lovely décor, clean reception area, the rooms were clean and tidy and housekeeping came in daily with fr

My 3 teens & I had a great week here in July. The staff are excellent, the food is excellent, It's fun, It's very clean, all services are great. Location and proximity to everything you'll want to see in Salou is great. But it was after we got back to Ireland that I was even more deeply impressed by the staff. It turned out that my daughter had left her cuddly toy behind when we left. I rang & emailed the hotel and they were brilliant. They emailed me within 24hrs that they had found Moo Cow and had it in safe storage! And they helped with packaging it & attaching the UPS label that I subsequently emailed to them. Special mention goes to reception staff, who couldn't have been more helpful and understanding of our plight. They totally got it and went that bit extra - they all do. Thank you Salou Park Resort 1 for a really memorable holiday.

The Rooms was very small. The cleaners would only sort out the beds and wouldn’t even change the bedding itself the whole two weeks we were there. The toilets were barely cleaned and if the water was turned on at the maximum then the whole toilet floor would be in a puddle. The air conditioning only works when the balcony is closed and during the night the air would be warm. There was a very long queue for the bar to get a drink. Another horrible thing is that the pool had NO umbrellas and if you wanted to bring your own you would have to use this heavy parasol base which only 3 of them were available. POSITIVES: The Beach IS very close, only a couple minutes walk and closer than any other hotel in the area. The small local beach (regardless of it being packed) was less busy than the longer beach near it. It was less windy and the water was clearer. Regardless of a lot of cold staff members there were some very very friendly and absolutely lovely ones such as Johan and nico behind the bar, they were friendly even in the stress of their work. Veneranda, a waitress, was really friendly and always smiling, cheering us up at any occasion. Elizabeta the chef, The friendliest of all the chefs full of personality and always up for a conversation. The Entertainment of the hotel was okay with different shows every day even though after a week, they were repeating shows. However the entertainment was definitely carried by Chiara who would have every kid dancing on the stage. She did nearly everything when it came to entertainment and was definitely the most welcoming staff member. Whenever she wasn’t working the atmosphere wasn’t the same and the kids entertainment was either not done properly or had less engagement. If you are coming for a spa, don’t, it’s closed off and never mentioned by anyone. Overall the experience was okay but not quite worth the money. Not a 4 star, barely a 3.

Very bad service!!!I don’t recommend it at all! Starting with the fact that there is no air conditioning in the room, the food at breakfast was the same during the 7 days, mold on the ceiling of the room and the smell of urine in the toilet, the elevator did not work and we had to climb 8 floors with a baby ! Don't ruin your vacation by choosing these bad services!

Hi all First impressions of the hotel it is on the hill and a busy road but didn't bother us very help full man on the reception the staff was ok with us , we was in room 708 in 4R Salou park 1 it was on the 7th floor right outside the lift we thought this might be a problem with the Norse but it was ok,It was a good room with 2 double beds in it , it was for 4 people but we dont think the balcony would of fit 4 it was ok for us 2 people there was a fridge it was free, the air con was ok just keep the door shut, the tv there is one English channel the bbc news and one channel for the kids. The cleaner came in every day and did a good job, we had a lovely sea view, It was the weekend the festival was on, there was a lot of Spanish there it was a good weekend the food was good but as soon as they had gone the food was cold, there was plenty to eat but it was just cold About 3 days into the holiday, we stayed for 12 nights there was a football tournament on, about 300 hundred kids came in, ages from about 11 to 15 of age they was shouting from the balcony banging in the rooms it was really nosey, at the restaurant it was chaos it was full ok kids shouting it was like a kids canteen , when they came back from the torment they sat on the steps the person who was looking after them told them to shout fook Barcelona and they did we think they most of got beet lol Then the following night there was some people in one room, floor 8 just above us, they was squirting water on the stage shouting things down to the act one of the staff from the hotel shouted to them in Spanish that was about 9pm, they were shouting till about 4am then they made up twice, the walls are paper thin, but after that night it was quit quiet apart from the kids. We booked the hotel because it had a spar we went to the reception to book the spar they said we cant because it was closed we asked if it was going to be open they said they didn't know it was under renovation we booked with jet2 and it is still advertised on there web site that it still has a spa we have not looked at any other web site so be care full if you are booking this hotel for the spa because it has not got one jet2 have offered £100 voucher it as to be spent in a year lol all in all we made the most of the holiday we would give it a three star, would we go back to the hotel again ? no never

Lovely location but you need to be mobile....access to beach nearby difficult 100m hill....hotel on hill last 150 m all around.....shopping streets start at 150m and level from that on into centre. Bring your own beach towels.....no umbrellas for rent and none at pools either. Happy stay reasonable value lovely beaches for miles and splendid town all food/ drinks gone much more expensive particularly as u approach beach.
