Beautiful boutique hotel with convenient parking in a great location in downtown.

thought the hotel was hoing to be better is like a hampton inn or best western but mire expensive the guy at the front desk not very kind there is no place to park and do the check in you have to drag the luggage from the parking lot by yourself

Amazing place to stay in downtown Salt Lake City. Great service and very accomodating. Blake in particular was kind and helpful with our stay. Very nice and neat rooms and it was very enjoyable to sleep there. This hotel was very convenient and would highly recommend.

The hotel is in a great location but the rooms are small and the beds are ridiculously uncomfortable! Really awful!

Don’t, just don’t. And if you do…..you were warned. The staff are kind but the hotel itself, let’s just say it is very old and instead of doing renovations or keeping up on simple things, it’s like lipstick was put on a pig. I could go on and on about the problems. But it all comes down to, just don’t do it.

The hotel has an amazing charm for being 114 years old. The staff was outstanding. Some of these reviews just seem like personal attacks from folks who do not enjoy staying at a historic hotel. Similar to everything else in life stuff does happen, and how you react is paramount. Once i read through the issues I was able to make a decision to stay and we had an outstanding time. Thank you all and we will be back monthly!

I stayed at the Peery hotel for one night on a business trip. This is my second time staying at the Peery, and I have not had any issues in the past. The hotel is clean, convenient, and being an older hotel, a nice break from the typical downtown hotel. I had a morning flight and had no hot water in the room upon waking up. I took a very quick cold shower, and I was unable to shave. I went to the front desk to check out and informed them that there was no hot water. At the same time a guest from another room came down complaining of the same lack of hot water. I asked the clerk if I would be expected to pay the full rate as a functioning shower is a basic feature of a hotel room. She said she would check with the manager. She came back and told me my only option would be to wait for the hot water to be fixed. I was unable to do this as I had a flight to catch. I asked to speak with the manager and was told that he was “unavailable to speak with me.” At this point the clerk could not even look me in the eye and I left incredulous at how the situation was handled. I am a Hilton diamond member and stay approximately 75 nights in hotels per year. I rarely complain, and almost never leave reviews. (Positive or negative). This situation, where I was basically told to “get over it.” was the last straw. Other than the lack of hot water and the absolute failure with service recovery, the stay was unremarkable.
