Old money style, the hotel is well maintained.
Check out time is 11 o'clock, which is too early.
Parking lots are also more expensive. $6 an hour, $30 a day.

The room is spacious and the toilet and bathroom are separate. But the facilities are old and it feels like a five-star hotel from 20 years ago. No washlet!
There is no suitable place to put the coffee machine, there are few places for power plugs, and there is no USB socket.
The swimming pool is nice and there is a family changing room where the family can change clothes in one room, which is very good!

I didn't really like staying in old hotels, but I booked it decisively when I saw the high ratings and good location. Sure enough, it is worth the money. The hotel has the feeling of the Hong Kong peninsula. Although it has a history, it is well maintained. The rooms and bathrooms are large. The outdoor swimming pool is very lively in the afternoon. Very clean and nice hotel. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best. The bathtub drain was super slow to drain.
The bed was great. The view of Salt Lake was amazing.

The hotel overall is classic luxury. That said, although it is very clean and the service is excellent, it is a very old hotel. The decor in all rooms in particular is very outdated with horrible carpet and even worse curtains. It's kind of depressing to be honest. The best part of the rooms are the bathrooms and the view, if you can get one. I felt my room definitely needed ventilation. There was no fresh air coming through since the windows are bolted shut. The in-room dining food was just okay, but again, the service was great.
