Didn’t really have a good experience on this but thank god Trip did compensate a small fee. The room is good, the hotel is good BUT whoever that has booked please read this:- 1. Make sure they send you a pin code to enter the hotel at least 3 days before or else keep emailing and calling before you reach. There is no workers all automated if you reach and have no code to enter you are stranded! Yes there is a phone to call but Im not sure why the phone doesn’t work properly!! I called 7 times only to 1 time they pick up. And finally after waiting in the cold for 30 mins they let me know the pin code to enter. Its very hard to contact the hotel maybe because im not using local phone number. Contacted trip and they themselves couldn’t contact them in time. According to the hotel, there should be an email from them with instructions and code. 2. Yes, I do love the concept of having no one to check in but at least leave like an ipad or a screen for guest to check and contact??? 3. Rooms were nice, blinds were automatic. Clean and have smart tv. They do have elevators thank god. Besides the ‘PIN number’ enter check in, its all good.

We booked directly with the hotel as we usually do. There was no mention of there not being a reception or even a person being there to see you in. A code is given to you electronically a couple of days before arrival. This should have given me the hint. The room was fine and clean. We had requested parking but there was nobody there to explain this system to us. The bot that communicated with Whatsapp gave odd instructions. As well the parking pass was hidden among the bags of tea on the service tray. As we don't drink Tea I did not discover this card and a chit for payment until the second night while cleaning up. we had already secured other parking arrangements by this time. Not a great "hotel" hospitality experience. In fact there is no hospitality. There is a cafe in operation in the morning, but we were never told that these are hotel staff. It appears as a separate entity. and for 21 Euros for a European breakfast, a little steep. In Canadian dollars, this comes close to 40 dollars per person. This will not be a return destination for us.

Would have liked to have a shelf in the shower because the small tray was broken. Road noise was pretty loud. Otherwise, overall experience was very good. Breakfast was tasty and the access to the luggage lounge was MAJOR. Would recommend.

It is an excellent hotel, however, please note that it is missing some of the staffing and attendance you would see at a bigger hotel. But if you live without 24hr concierge, and other things like a more spacious storage and ability to do some small laundry or ironing, this is really a great spot. Easily walkable to the centre of Salzburg ina great neighbourhood.

Not a single positive thing to say about the property ....zero customer service. There was no one at the cafe to answer or help answer any questions. Terrible check-in. process, horrible breakfast and the guy there was only interested in collecting money for the breakfast.
