we loved our stay in Das Salz. Parking is a bit complicated and the surroundings are not so nice but it is very close to the center.

Been here for 1 night. Entry is via a pre-obtained code. Upon entering the hotel gave a very shabby impression. You felt like you could encounter a wanderer at any moment. The room was extremely hot and the air conditioning did not work. Called about this immediately and again after a few hours. It was promised that the temperature would be centrally controlled, but unfortunately nothing changed. Opening the window was not an option because the room was located on the street side of a very busy street. We strongly advise against this hotel

The property is really nice and finished to a high standard however, the room we had was different to the room in the images when selecting - we were shown a balcony and did not have one. Not having a reception at all is a bit of an issue, we were unable to request additional pillows for the stay. The cleaners also entered our room at 8am in the morning and did not refill our hand soap or body wash. It is a decent hub to explore from but, there is nothing significant nearby and it is a cold walk along the river in winter if you are going then

Overall, a very good hotel and really clean. Perfect beds and beautiful rooms.
The welcome and departure were extremely warm and friendly. My only criticism was the richness of the breakfast. I also personally think that only one hot drink is included is rather weak. This could be expanded a bit, especially since hotels in cheaper price categories have expanded it much more.
Otherwise, I would happily return!!
