Holiday Inn San Antonio-Riverwalk Reviews

The room pictures indicate that there is a balcony. I had to pay an additional $30 per day to get the room depicted in the descriptive pictures. They explained that they use generic pictures for many rooms. At best, it's careless; at worst, intentional. In any case, it is misleading. I never had a similar problem with my other bookings at trip.com. The elevator wasn't working for two days, and they didn't even bother to put up a sign. Overall, the hotel doesn't seem to care about its customers.

Great experience. Super clean and super comfortable bed. I want to thank them so much for allowing me to stay while I had a situation with losing my card.

Everything was amazing

The location is very good, in the city center, near the river, it is considered a river view room. The room is large, clean and tidy, the hotel service facilities are also very good, the overall feeling is still very good

Our stay was great! The hotel employess were courteos and inquired if all was well. The room was very clean and the matress on the bed was the Best I have slept on away from home. Overall, our stay was a pleasant experience!

Front desk was not cooperative with any accommodations you needed and gave an excuse for them being busy and sold out. I had to wait 50 mins for room service to bring a toothpaste. When I called front desk again to check up on how long it’ll take, I was told that they can’t give me a time frame cause they are busy.

Our room was disgusting. Hair all over the bathroom. Hair on the shower wall, in the sink, on the floor, etc…And the floor in the bedroom was dirty was too. Pool was not heated and it was disgusting too.

Hallway was under construction. Room and pillows were uncomfortable. Tv was messed up and hard to watch. Air conditioner blew right on the couch & couldn't be adjusted. Kids were freezing every night with a blanket that they compared to a bath towel.

We had a great stay and will return to this location for future San Antonio trips- We loved the location and walkability to everything we wanted!

NOT a good experience! Location is great, staff was helpful, but the building is in bad shape. When we got to our room it was pretty warm, looked at the thermostat it was set at 59, but was showing 72. Called front desk to learn the whole building was without A/C, but they were working on it and expected it fixed soon. Went out for the evening and returned to no change. Was offered a box fan ($14 @ Walmart) but all it did was move hot air. That night we also discovered black mold on the shower head and in the caulking. Little bugs were crawling on the counter in the bath. We ended up checking out early with a $20 discount for our troubles. WOW!Thanks! I think it was not near worth what they charged. I’ve stayed in better 3 star places. We moved to Home2 across the river walk and it was amazing!

The rooms were not that clean there were dust everywhere the floors were swept either I would not recommend staying here

Room was dirty, a/c didn't work that great and the water pressure was awful. When it was stated to the front desk, I got a sorry but no resolution. For the price you pay, it could have been better for a Holiday Inn.

I stayed here for one night. The first room I was put into had little roaches in the bathroom, but before I could even complain, someone had text to ask how my room was. I explained the situation and they instantly moved me to a different room on a different floor. The second room was completely fine (and believe me, I looked). Customer service was excellent, but the overall hotel cleanliness needs work. Hallways definitely need to be vacuumed and bathrooms are for sure not cleaned very often. I will more than likely never stay here again
