Hotels Near Walmart Pharmacy in San Antonio

I was very pleased with the 2 Queen Deluxe beds. The room was very nice and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here. Book non smoking and if you smoke. Smoke in your car or outside. There is a $25.00 per pet fee for pets which is nonrefundable and that's understandable and reasonable. Breakfast is the usual waffles, cereal, etc. At least it's something. If you prefer a grand slam, take yourself to Dennys and buy it. If you purchase the deluxe room you have a coffee pot ( the one in my room was missing a tube so it didn't work), the fridge and microwave worked great and I reported the coffee pot. Guests should always report issues. If you do not report issues then they will not be corrected so instead of writing a nasty review. Report the issue. Give the hotel a chance to correct the problem. That is all have a good day.

We stayed here on a Saturday night and made the reservation that morning. It cost around $320 or $330 for the night. The room was fairly large. There was the main room with 2 double beds and another room (open floor plan) with a sofa bed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. In the morning, they had a nice breakfast with various options. The hotel is fairly close to the Riverwalk and The Alamo. It cost around $10 to Uber to the Riverwalk, and around $15 to return (excluding tip).

The hotel is on the edge of downtown San Antonio, 5-10 minutes by taxi from the popular attractions Alamo Plaza and river walk! The hotel is a bit old, but in the upgrade, in addition to high-end hotels, Hilton feels that there is no new Marriott in the mid-range ...

The decor of the room is very 1980’s and could do with refresh. While we had a one bedroom apartment with kitchenette, if we wanted to dine in there were no plates or cutlery…. Why have a kitchen facility without the ability to dine in, rooms are only serviced if you request it. Evening reception is for 2 hours, but only drinks, miss the nibbles that Embassy Suites used to offer. Breakfast is good, reasonable selection and excellent omelette station.

The valet made things easy and were waiting upon check in. Valerie at the front desk was amazing and answered all of my questions on the area. She loves her job and is a pleasure! Big room with a lot of space and a balcony. Great location for anything downtown on the riverwalk. Enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again!

Just ok. The location is good but there’s plenty of other hotels around. There is a fridge, but no water in the room. I was in room 500 and maybe it was just my room but the way it’s set up, the person on the right side of the bed can only see half of the tv because the wardrobe is blocking it. The room also faces the small pool, which you should try not to get because there are tall buildings surrounding you. A Riverwalk view would be much better. The bathrooms could use some updates. The room does have two full length mirrors which is nice and a desk and a loveseat and it was clean. The front desk service was good. We ate at the bistro for breakfast which was good but a little slow. All in all it was a decent stay but I would try someplace else the next time.

It is a hotel that I would definitely like to stay next time. Good breakfast. The service of the hotel staff was attentive and the hotel felt comfortable. There is a shop near the hotel, which is very helpful.

This price is in this location in the city and is very close to our convention center. 10 minutes, 5 minutes from the shopping center, convenient to eat, the hotel is good value for money

At check-in Israel the bellman was the only saving grace from this weekend stay. A four or 5 bubble rating is not just about the room or the view. In this case both were great. It is also about the service and amenities. I requested a bathrobe for my husband and myself. Unfortunately, only one of the two had a belt. I requested that our car be brought to the front as advised 20 minutes ahead of when we needed it. We even spoke directly with the valet and explained that we were going to get breakfast and would easily be back in 20 minutes. Well, 20 minutes later when we returned, there was no car. So, we waited about 15 more minutes just to get the car. We wanted to order room service for lunch but there is no room service between 11am and 5pm. Forget about maid service. I made 3 unanswered calls to the desk on our room phone and finally called the hotel from my iPhone on the main number. When we got back about 11am, the room had not been done. Oh, by the way, you have to request that room service be provided each day which I had done at check in. I was told that there was no guarantee that room service would be provided when we were out of the room after 5 PM that evening. I was also given the wrong excuse: “We’ve been very busy” with no “I’m sorry and I’ll get it corrected as soon as possible.” My husband found a maid in the hallway and asked her to clean the room…which she did right then. Getting help with our luggage on check-out was also a comedy of resourcefulness. We personally asked a bellman when we entered the hotel to help us. He said that he would be right up with the cart. So, 15 minutes later, I went out into the hallway and spotted a bellman in the hallway about 3 doors down. He said that his understanding was that the bellman had called the room (??) and that no one had answered (??) so he decided not to come up with the cart (!) and had cancelled our request(!). Incredible. So, at this point, the other people were not ready, so the bellman asked if he could come back after he helped my husband and me down. They were nice enough to agree to that arrangement. The hotel failed miserably for us on this stay.

The hotel room smelled awful--it smelled like a combination of urine and deodorizer used for cover up old, stale cigarette smoke. Each time the AC kicked in the rooms were filled w/the odor of urine. Also, there was 0 cleaning services throughout our 5 day stay. We were instructed to leave our soiled line and trash in the hallways. Because of this, the corridor smelled awful and resembled a homeless camp filled with trash and soiled towels. Our room had 0 toilet paper and Kleenex. The staff would only give us one roll at a time, so we had to troll for tp everyday. The complimentary hot breakfast the staff boosted about when we checked in turned out to be tire old scrabbled eggs and nasty tasting sausage and a few other options. The towels and bed linens were tired and worn and in bad shape. We were not the least bit happy with the accommodations. Had I known what I was getting myself into, I would have paid the extra amount to stay elsewhere. The street noise was out of control and made it difficult to get a good night's rest. As it were I had no idea the hotel was in such poor shape and had little services and by the time I figured it out, it was too late to book elsewhere.
