L'hôtel est bien situé dans la ville. Cependant la misère humaine dans les rues aux alentours rend la sécurité moins bonne après 18h.
La douche de notre chambre ne fonctionnait même pas.

It's the tenderloin. Cockroach in the bathroom, that I smashed. Other bug in bedroom...not sure what it was. Too fast. Couldn't smash.
Two girls kicking each others butts in room next door to me at 2am. No phone in my room conecting to front desk. Called phone number on website. Told me it was local problem. OMG! Finaly...someone came to break it up...2 hours later. Thank goodness. Horrible experience.

Great property for central location in SF. The front desk guy was very nice and helped us with our food delivery when we were stuck in traffic ! Great place and cool old school elevator !!

Worst customer service I've ever gotten in 41 year
Honestly, you couldn't pay me to stay in this hotel again. Manager was extremely rude and disrespectful to my wife, screaming at her over our 17 year old son showing up and staying the night. Kept our deposit without any valid reason other than our kid being in the room with us without putting him on the reservation... Although he watched him walk into the building with my wife. If I could rate in the negatives I would.

Just what I expected
The room that we checked into had flies and the bathroom light was not working properly. We complained and they were able to give us another room. Be aware there is no AC unit, just fans. The bed is not so comfy. Overall a good value for your money. Muni stop is just across the street.

Could be worse.
The hotel have good and bad stuff. The bathroom was pretty good. Floors could have been cleaner. Bed was good. Building quite old and elevetor not upgraded, real old school elevetor. Hallways didnt look fresh and had some weird smell. Worse problem is bad isolation. The cold weather made it freezing inside. Only one radiator that didnt do enough for a decent temperature.
Decent location but much homelessness in the neighbourhood.

No pets allied BS
Biggest complaint, hotel information stated no pets allowed. There were dogs in other rooms that were constantly barking. Hotel staff notified. They said there was nothing they could do about it 😡

Quaint and rustic, ear plugs a MUST
The hotel is a historical site so it has a very rustic design and feel to it. It's a little hard to tell it's a hotel at first since the awning is kinda small and inconspicuous, but the guy at the front was very nice. The room itself was nice and clean, with a fridge and microwave and cable tv, as well as the option to chrome cast. While there were no issues with the room itself, the outside area was quite loud with lots of people hanging outside and yelling throughout the night. Im a pretty sound sleeper and was on the 6th floor, but was woken up every 1-1.5 hours throughout the night. Definitely need ear plugs during the night to get a good nights sleep.
