SO/ Sotogrande Spa and Golf Resort Hotel

Excellently run hotel, great golf course, restaurants and pools. Close to lots of amenities. Highly recommend it. Breakfast a la carte and great selection from sweet or savoury. Staff bend over backwards to be friendly and get you what you want. We ate in the fine dining Cortijo, Marxa and food by the pool. All excellent! Room was spotless and cleaned daily with free minibar. Taxis a plenty to take you wherever you want to go. Why stay anywhere else? The kids pool and set up looked superb.

We had another wonderful holiday This is our fifth time at the hotel We could not fault a thing From the moment we arrived all the staff were so friendly helpful It’s like home from home Our rooms as always were fabulous Clean spacious comfortable Breakfast a la carte is great We much prefer this than the usual buffet Bar in the evening again is great We had drinks before dinner and after Staff all so lovely I had a massage in the spa which is one of the best I’ve ever had Our son played golf and used the gym every day and even had a PT session The hotel ticks all the boxes for us Location Service Great food Great amenities We will obviously be booking again for next year Absolutely love the hotel

Sotogrande is a nice and unique place. And So/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Roesort is top of it. Great newly renovated hotel, great suite in garden, exellent staff and service, excellent resstaurants, very nice food, good spa, nice golf course etc. We will be back:-)

We loved staying at SO! We felt at home and enjoyed the weather, food and amenities. The friendly way we were treated was something we will always cherish.

Hotel - Stunning looking hotel design, beautiful rooms, luxurious spa. Staff - Super friendly and helpful staff including the concierge & front desk staff, spa team and restaurant staff. Everyone was so welcoming. Value for Money - The rooms rates are very reasonable and good value for the quality of the room and the resort. The cheapest room category was a lovely bungalow style room with a garden terrace with view, we found it spacious enough. Nice touch to have free water in fridge and steamer in room to steam clothes. Restaurants - We found the food a bit expensive but everything was delicious and great service and in keeping with prices of 5 star resort. Loved the extensive cocktail menu. We can recommend both Marxa and Cortijo restaurants for dinner. Activities - Really enjoyed being able to rent ebikes (35 pp/day) and order drinks by the pool. Spa - Great facilities. Enjoyed a fantastic massage from Veronica. Verdict - We stayed for only 2 nights but wished we had stayed longer, we will definitely be back (we rarely return to hotels). A great destination even if you are not into golf.

We had a lovely break at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were spacious and chic (we were in ‘shared entrance’ family rooms) Both had large bathrooms with rainfall showers and big baths, comfy beds and loungers in the tranquil garden to the rear. We dined at all four eateries and were very happy with the quality. Our family favourite was Marxa. Nice touches throughout the week added to the zen vibes; live music at IXO, a DJ in Marxa and a candlelit concert in the amphitheatre - although rather sophisticated for children. There was an animation team by the family pool keeping little ones entertained with games during the day - it can feel a bit contained without the use of the other two adult-only pools, but we had a car to go on trips/to the beach. The hilltop aspect and overall design of the hotel was stunning and all the staff we encountered were warm and welcoming. We thought the all-inclusive value was good in the package we found, but appreciate some guests were on different rates.

The breakfast staff is fantastic. The pool and spa staff…need some talk to. Pool closes at 8pm but they’ll kick you out at 7.45pm if no one else is around. Noisy staff. We had ants in the room.
