We are a frequent visitor to this apartment hotel, in fact, we are very satisfied with the treatment at the reception (Noelia is very attentive and professional), and the location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Quiet and clean accommodation! highly recommended.

I've got to say, this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The value for money is incredible, they have lodge style rooms, so ground floor level, walk in straight from your vehicle with your bags which I love, not having to schlep our bags through the hotel. The rooms are amazingly well equipped and very nice, loads of cushions, all you would expect from a class hotel and ours had a veranda with a table and chairs, then the extras, a Fridge, coffee machine :) with pods, great TV, great wifi, little toiletries and to top it off a robe and slippers (guess this was for the pool but too cold for the pool for me in January) The staff were very, very helpful, kind and caring, the bar etc is lovely to sit in and have a tipple, we didn't use the ****** as this was a work trip but we certainly would go back and stay again and maybe try the ****** :)

Dear travellers (in particular those with canine companions), In my case a large wolf like being that I describe as my second daughter. I have worked at an executive level in customer service in both corporate and hospitality environments my entire life. It is my passion!! And as such, I expect to receive a certain standard in return when I travel to other countries. I rarely have time to leave reviews except under exceptional circumstances and one of those exceptional experiences happened at this Hotel in the last week. Furthermore, I feel that not doing so, would not only do an injustice to the Hotel Alboran and its wonderful staff, but also to anyone thinking of visiting or passing through Algeciras, in case they miss out on the opportunity for a Top Class stay at a Top Class hotel where I found what can only be described as the 'perfect' customer experience. I was finding it difficult to find pet-friendly accommodation as I made my way from Spain to Portugal on the south coast I finally came across this hotel and it's amazing staff who treated me and my best friend to a standard of genuine care I've rarely experienced anywhere else in Europe and probably the world. All the staff were amazing, without exception, however I need to explicitly thank May and Cristobel who went out of their way to make us feel very welcome and no amount of assistance was an inconvenience BUT THEN THERE WAS MARIA, the icing on the cake. Saint Maria , ☺️, combined professionalism, care and genuine empathy, love for animals and work ethic far above and beyond the call of duty, in the perfect blend of hospitality, even spending some of her personal time helping me with a very challenging matter on my upcoming travels. Her attention and dedication was relentless and seemed almost effortless. 5 stars definitely for the Alboran hotel for my stay, 10 stars if I could for the team…. but Maria, take the Milky Way number of stars and add 1. 😀 Owners/ Management of Hotel Alboran, in Maria, you have an absolute gem. She is a keeper!!! What an ambassador for your brand!! The hotel is very comfortable and the terrace is very comfortable and the air conditioning is very well equipped. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The bad pool helper does not do all his work except being at the phone s is allowed to throw our towels on the ground. The pools are top but only 5 transactions around the pool very few screen places the customers were put on the walks around the pool so we stopped going there. Great stay here. I was there for 2 weeks and ended up staying a couple extra nights. Right near la linea port and about a 10 minutes walk to Gibraltar frontier. The buffet in morning for breakfast is amazing! Staff was helpful. The only issue I had was WiFi wasn’t as great and I needed it to handle some business. Other then that perfect stay.

Loved this hotel. The price is amazing for this quality. The rooms are huge. The hotel is huge. Beachfront. Great spa. We spent an afternoon there. Three spa pools, a lounging area, haman, hot/cold showers. So fun. Tremendous value. It’s a throwback to a grand 60’s hotel in Florida. Good includes breakfast. Good coffee. Nice boardwalk.
