Paulshof Sandton Apartments - Hluhluwe Road Complex

Billy the owner was very rude to us, he spoke to us in a very undermining way, He even use valga words like "F" word & "kants" while talking to us, we felt very unwelcomed, just because were black & we using a taxi, he already labeled us to un behaved people, the place is nice but most of the furniture is old & broken/torn & the was terrible smell, he care nothing about us as clients, everything was about him & his neighbours, zero customer service/care. even swimming pool was dirty we had to clean it ourselves when we got there, then there was a alarm that kept on going off while we relaxed that was making such as terrifying noise. & he tells us his son gave his "mariwana"overall rate is zero we are unhappy with the place. Never will we refer anyone to that place.

The BnB is value for money. the place is so spacious with a clean kitchen and great wifi. The location is convenient for my school(henley Business School). see you again in November. keep it up and I will recomend to any of my pals visiting from Malawi.

I used the place to host a game night. Everyone had a fantastic time. The host was friendly and very nice. The place exceeded my expectations. The place looked like the pictures. I would love to come back again!

Unfortunately we did not like our stay. To start the accommodation is NOT in the premises advertised (I wonder if the guesthouse in the pictures exists at all). We were moved to a flat in a closed, ugly, complex and I found out only because I realised the pictures the owner (or whoever Billy, the person I was exchanging whatsups with is) did not correspond to the guesthouse advertised. Billy did not ask me if it was OK to be moved to another accommodation and only when I asked him what was going on did he give me a half hearted explanation that we could not stay in the accommodation I had booked. I did not like the fact that he did not tell me before, asked for full payment, which I made immediately, and only when I asked for clarification did he confirm we had been moved. I was not given the option to decide if it was ok for me or cancel for free. The flat he called 'executive' was nothing special, not that clean (I had no bath soap or shampoo with me because I expected a different service). This was not the way I had planned to end my holidays in South Africa and when one does not know the area and is traveling with a 10 year old it is not a nice feeling and not easy at all! The fact that he didn't even come to greet us because he had 'something' at the other end of town (I saw there was a game on...) is just another minor detail. I have seldom been treated like this and do not recommend this accommodation

Had a very lovely stay. Places where nice and clean as well as the staff and owner being very accommodating and helpful. 10/10 would recommend anybody to use them. certainly my go to people for accommodation in the Sandton area

Its a great peaceful place, the staff was amazing and overall a beautiful scenic place. The residents living in the yard are also quite friendly and understanding. The host was also super nice its a definite must visit.

1.dont make your guests feel as if they being rushed to leave immediately.... And remind them they need to be out at 10am sharp. 2.remove that rule where your guests are only allowed visitors til 6pm...if I wanted to stay at a bording house I wouldv gone to one... 3.when a visitor asks ur helper to please not clean while she's not there please make sure she follows instructions and not come back with the doors open her dogs running around and luggage that looks like it was gone through.... 5.please don't accuse your visitors of apparently letting someone else sleep over when they booked for one... I mean really now..... U watch the gate like a hawk u should know when someone is coming and going. Anyway....

The place was nice and clean when we checked in. The whole complex is quiet and peaceful. This is a good place to unwind. Billy was a good host. The place is located closely to a small shopping complex that has a good pizza place. It has easy access to the N1 highway.
