Sandton Sun and Towers

We enjoyed a lovely stay. Clean, comfortable room that contained everything we needed. Beautiful view over the swimming pool with a gym that we could visit even late at night. Rooms were serviced by well-trained staff. Thank you we loved our stay

I'd wish to express how I'm happy with the service I got from Mamello. Speak of service excellence. Pity I couldn't get an actual rate card but I hope this counts as well. What stood out for me is how she kept checking ul on us to ensure that we are still good as well as the friendly personality.

I had the usual first-timer concerns about personal safety, but this hotel put them to rest. The location felt safe. And I was pleased to find that a taxi service connected to the hotel would take me to anywhere in the city and wait for me there or return to pick me up, at a very reasonable cost. If I'd been staying longer than a few days, I'd have mastered the public transportation system, but for a short stay, the taxi service was simple, friendly, and affordable. I'd describe the rooms as average for a good business hotel, the breakfast as excellent, and the staff as exceptional. The concierge, Khule, deserves 10 stars. In a series of emails, he helped us set up airport transportation and then rearrange it several times when our flight was canceled. His kindness and professionalism were a great introduction to South Africa.

The room was amazing. However the responsiveness of front desk was not professional. I requested for a technician to fix an issue with the TV, no one came until I called again the next day. I also requested a shuttle or transport to the airport and the gentleman at the front desk was not so pleasant and so wasn’t surprised the next morning when in fact there was no booking made. Not sure if he judged me as someone not fit for the hotel or not but definitely I am not amused . That being said , the gentleman who welcomed me on my arrival was very pleasant and professional.

This is a very fine establishment where every care is taken to ensure maximum luxury for guests. The room service, the laundry service, the housekeeping, and the experience at the front desk are all very exceptional. The in-room coffee was amazing as well.

We stayed for a few nights while in Jozi and this was the perfect location. The hotel was really great, met by lovely staff, very helpful with all our needs. Big comfortable rooms, spotless and clean with all the amenities. The restaurant was perfect, amazing food for brilliant value and again, the staff in the restaurant were so helpful and accommodating with needs. The pool is lovely too and the hotel as a whole was just perfect, thank you so much for having us!

Reception fantastic team, housekeeping amazing, wonderful room. But Food and Beverage let the hotel down. Took an average of 15 mins to get drinks ordered and delivered, we were alert to order drinks at the bar, and the bar tender shouted at us to get a server to take our order, we were shocked as he was so rude, hotel looks beautiful, great location

Stayed here a number of time. Good business hotel well located and rooms to a good standard. Was in the towers this time and although the walk to the sun deck is long (no really nice outside space in the towers) I found the room and the breakfast was a much better standard. The Sunderland service as always leaves a hell of a lot to be desired I suggest ordering your next drink on the delivery of your first. Organised chaos is how I tend to describe it and it never seems to improve even though there seems to be multiple staff.
