We had a chance to stay at the Sandwich Inn during our recent trip to Cape Cod. The Inn is very quaint in a classic New England style. There is a small restaurant and a bar that was loaded with local folks the night we visited. Our room was very special - a four-poster bed in a large room with interesting decor. Beautiful. The Inn is located on a very quiet street - easy walking to local sites and small shops. A great place for a romantic getaway.

Chambre spacieuse. Salle de bain correct. Literie très bien. Salle du petit déjeuner très jolie et petit déjeuner très bien également. Personnel d’accueil agréable mais vu personne au départ. Motel qui doit être très agréable en période estivale. Bon emplacement. Juste petit bémol, le sol de la chambre (lino) collait (probablement pas bien rincé) ! Malgré cela nous recommandons sans problème cet endroit.

The room is fine,in fact I have stayed here a number of times. It is January and the room should have additional blankets available as the bed has a simple flat sheet and only thin cotton batting duvet for a covering. It was late when I checked in after hours so I was not able to ask for an additional blanket.
Otherwise, the room is good, the bathroom is clean, and the breakfast is nice. I will stay again, I will just have to ask ahead for extra blankets if I visit in the winter again.

We rented a two-bedroom suite with kitchen thinking would have room and enough chairs to welcome others in our party to visit with us in the evening. The room with the two beds had only one chair and no room at all to welcome guests. The kitchen by contrast had more space but only one very small table, two chairs at the table, and a small bench. Dishware was sp**** and random (no one glass like another, for example). No coffee maker and no coffee other than decaffeinated instant powder. Bathroom was okay. Breakfast offerings were also adequate, though heavy on sweet pastries. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. I've never written such a bad review before, but when we went to our room, I knew immediately I couldn't stay. The bed was soft and creaky but worst yet, the disinfectant smell was overpowering. I have a bad back (need a good mattress) and allergies (odor was a health problem). When I asked the front desk if I could get a refund, the woman said no and when I asked if I could see another room, she also balked. She eventually relented and gave me a key to the room next door which was exactly the same. She couldn't care less whether I stayed and had an asthma attack or left. We left, without a refund. DON"T STAY HERE!
