We cannot say enough about how wonderful this hotel is. But even more so, the staff! They truly are like family by the time you leave. We'd like to give a shout out especially to Amelia, Ornella, and Mario. I'm not sure what I would have done without them... I came down with an intestinal bug and they facilitated a visit by a local doctor, fixed me a special diet, helped us follow the instructions for the prescribed medications, checked on me, and made sure, even though they were booked with two weddings that weekend, that we were able to stay at the hotel for two extra days because I couldn't get on an airplane to come home in my condition. There is no doubt we will visit again and I hope to see all of them again. The breakfast was the best we had during our entire 3 weeks in Italy, visiting Venice, Udine, Tuscany, Rome and then to Sorrento. it was amazing. And, oh how I was ready for bacon and eggs by then! The infinity pool is amazing, with Mt. Vesuvius in the distance. My only wish was that the pool stayed open later than 7p.m. (so as not to disturb diners during dinner), but I understand why. Again, Amelia, Ornella, and Mario... thank you, thank you, thank you for all you did for us. You really exemplify excellent hospitality.
