3-Star Hotels in Santa Barbara County

Front desk attendant was lovely and efficient. Had an issue with other loud guests and she dealt with it promptly. Loved the room design, with huge bathroom and dressing area. Very clean. Would definitely stay again.

But the order was indeed a 2 bed room. Anyway The front desk waited for 20 minutes to be allocated a twin room.

On our last night in Santa Barbara we choose the Beachside Inn which is across Cabrillo Blvd from the Santa Barbara Harbor and about 15 minute walk from Sterns Pier. We were able to check in about 1 hour before the 4 pm normal check in time. the Staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room on the 2nd floor was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable. (the only down was it took awhile for the hot water in the shower to come to full power.) the breakfast in the morning was good and refreshing. yes the motel seem a bit old on the outside but the lobby and rooms were well styled and comfortable.

The hotel looks very well maintained. My room had a sofa and desk along with the king size bed. Big room for a hotel. The bathroom and sink area are alittle small, but very modern and tiled. The shower was excellent. The pool and jucuzzi were crystal clear and clean. Pretty big pool with a deep end of 8 ft. The location is about 8 minute drive to downtown, but there are several restaurants within walking distance. The area seems nice, don’t let the closed hotel next door scare you away.

The breakfast was very rich, the service was very good, very stylish, the room had more than sixty square feet, there was a dining table, living room, fireplace, jacuzzi, kingsize bed, the boss was very good, there was free parking, we arrived It was late, almost eight o'clock, she prepared tea and red wine for us. Absolutely disappointed! We've stayed here before and had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately I can't say the same about this trip. Upon check in we were informed there would be no water at the property between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am due to some maintenance being done by the city, and this was last of a three night stretch this was occurring. This was not disclosed at the time of booking and I made the reservation on what would have been the first night of the outage. The girls at the check in desk were less than accommodating. I realize this isn't their fault, but I would expect more than an unsympathetic response of, ”We're not giving any kind of discount or accommodation, but we will allow you to cancel and seek reservations elsewhere,” knowing full well that was a joke being this area is a tourist destination that regularly sells out starting Thursday night for the weekend. Then we head for our room on the third floor and we find the elevator is out of service. No warning from the girls at the front desk, who actually directed us to the elevator. I'm not sure what happened since we last stayed here, but I doubt we'll ever see this place again. Not even an offer of bottled water to hold you over for the night. Horrible customer service! Unexpected things happen, but by the third night of the issue I would have expected management to communicate the issue to upcoming reservations. Immediately upon learning of the issue of 3 nights of no water, you would think emails would have gone out to guests scheduled to check in advising of the problem, allowing them to check for other lodging. The curt advisement of, “ You can cancel your reservation and seek lodging elsewhere,” as we were checking in just isn’t the way you win consumer loyalty or keep repeat customers.

Booked a room with a friend. The decoration of the two rooms is completely different and exquisite. When it arrived at night, the hotel was on the side of the road and the parking lot was in the backyard. Quite easy to find. The grandma at the reception was really nice, and would say ”Congratulations on getting rich”
