Terramia Estate

Beautiful place, very sereine, clean, and unique experience. The domes are very nice, and well equipped. However the windows are not equipped with screens, so if you are sensitive to moskito bites, bring some protection. The vibe of the place is bobo chic, and you disconnect with your problems Immediately. The road to get there is very hazardous, make sure to rent a 4x4 with high suspension.

If you are into Eko, but then next level: check-out this place. The estate is a producing coffee farm that also is an eko resort. Apart from bedrooms in the main house, you can also book one of the pods. These globes are situated against the hill and all have ocean view. Not only from your terrace, but also from your bed! The pods a mostly glass, so you can not only watch the stars from your bed, but also sun-up or down. You have a small kitchen, a gasbbq AND a jacuzzi for yourself. I opted for breakfast and dinner included: delicious. Throw in a open air rain shower with limitless hot water and I am hooked! One drawback: no wifi, only at the main house. But some might see this as a plus! I chose to stay at Terramia to recuperate from the hike to La Ciudad Perdida and I couldn’t have chosen a better place.

This is truly an absolutely unique and unreal place to stay. Our only regret was not staying longer. The pods are stunning and very comfortable with all little detail very well thought of. The owners are fantastic, very accommodating and hospitable. And we also loved the dogs. The views are incredible and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck with the sounds of howler monkeys in the backdrop. The meals provided were very tasty. We also enjoyed visiting the local waterfalls, one as part of a tour organised by the hotel and the other very close by and a short hike to see it from the Terramia Estate. If we’d had longer we’d have done the coffee tour and enjoyed the long hike to the top of the mountain for the views. I would highly recommend staying here, it is honestly one-of-a-kind. It was an amazing stay! The housing it self is simply wonderful! The hosts super accommodating! The fire pit in the evenings was a highlight and although we did not use the jacuzzi I am sure it would be a super cool thing to do! The nature surrounding is mind blowing! Make sure you contact the host to pick you up from where the asphalt road ends or else you need a 4 *4 jeep to arrive as the last kilometres is super bumpy but just adds charm to the whole adventure!

Terramia is a fantastic place where you can enjoy the Colombian jungle in a luxury way. The glamping is well equiped, includes a kitchen, and has an amazing view. From the outdoor shower you feel that you are in the middle of the jungle and each glamping has an outdoor jacuzzi where you can relax after visiting a coffee finca or treck in the jungle. The food is tasty and all products are local, and the staff is nice and attentive. Don’t hesitate to book your stay in Terramia when visiting the Sierra Nevada or Tayrona Park!

We had a lovely stay at Terramia Estate in August. Daniel and the team were very responsive to all of our questions before the stay, and helped us arrange transport from Cartagena. Located in the Sierra Nevada mountains on a coffee farm, it was the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy nature. We were in awe of the views and the cozy rooms as soon as we arrived. During our stay, we did the waterfall tour and the coffee farm tour - they were both excellent and highly recommended. We chose to have all meals prepared for us during our stay, and the food was perfect - incredibly tasty and prepared every day by the staff on the farm itself. The staff were lovely, and were so thankful for them! We had the best time and would love to go back in the future.
