4 stars Pros - secure: needed to buzzed in - nice open courtyard with a few chairs + tables - could see sunset from the second floor - working AC - 1 block from beach, and up the street from 2 dive shops - had amenities: shampoo, hair dryer - rooms were clean, spacious - nice staff Cons: - no hot water - in between multiple loud restaurants and bars. they play music all day and night. the AC can drown it out slightly. but if your a light sleeper not the best hotel for you - few chairs on second floor to sit outside the room

We stayed here after completing the Lost City Trek on our G Adventures tour, so this hotel was luxurious in comparison! I really enjoyed my stay though. The shower pressure wasn't great, but that's the only downside. The courtyard area where breakfast was served was really cool. The hotel is in a great location, close to local tiendas and only a short walk from the beach area.

On the positive side - the hotel is close to the beach. But there are many negatives Wifi doesn't work, bathroom sticks from sewer. No hot water in the shower. This is a 2 star hotel in the best case

The employees are all very nice!
Breakfast was wonderful and the common area was adorable.
The room had AC.
Would recommend this hotel if you are traveling on a budget to Tagonga Bay :)
