Excellent spot for all me and my family. Very big, flat, soft, sandy beach on the other side of the street, our three year old son had his first swim in the sea and loved it. Cafe’s and shops in close range for necessities and some excellent lunch rolls. Big room at the hotel, balcony to dry beach clothes and dark curtains that kept out the bright mornings rays. Kind, patient staff with my son, especially in the dining room. Relaxing sunshine break.

Beautiful blue skies and hot sun for the ten days we were here. Usually go away with my partner but just girls this time. We stayed in a twin room with a balcony. Modern, nice room the hotel pool is small, but we didn’t even use it as the beach is only over the road. This was a great location for restaurants, in the middle of the shops and close to the bus terminus to Palma and beyond. Had plans to do things but folded when we spent a day on the sand. Even a coffee shop on the beach. Planning a fortnight in September this year.

My brother in law booked us all into this hotel for a week. Close to the beach, well actually right across the street. Absolutely loved Santa Ponsa, a bit old style town, nice places to eat, great jewellery shops and bars and live music if you fancy a fun night. Rooms in the hotel were good, not fussy, modern and clean. Good breakfast, super nice dining room. Staff here, do their thing and the 24hr reception was great. Free Wi-Fi. Great choice Dougie.

Although this was an extra late getaway it worked so well for us. Santa ponsa has a huge, flat beach they put out beds and ratten shade umbrellas in rows, even arriving at eleven we still found a couple free to hire. Good basic hotel, our room had all we needed, surprisingly good sleep, quiet, no bright sun waking us up even slept in the first morning and missed breakfast. Shops and restaurants all around the hotel, nice seaside town. Both enjoyed this relaxed style break. No complaints, from me.

This beachfront hotel is also right in the middle of shops and restaurants, so you won’t have to go far. We booked a double room paying the extra for a sea view, silly not to. Room was clean with daily housekeeping and fresh towels if you needed them. The restaurant was always busy but they had a good flow going and it was topped up regularly. The bus terminus is close by with transport to Palma for a few euros. We usually hire bikes but enjoyed the beach so much we didn’t bother. I found a great mini market a few feet away from the hotel that had the best fruit and fresh rolls for beach pic/nicks. Best value holiday we’ve done in a while.

Good flight and transfer. Hotel is at one end of the main Santa Ponsa beach, close to shops and cafes. Far enough away from noisy bars, the worst we had to contend with were the flock of green parakeets. Handy beach bar across the road, plenty of beds and brollys to hire on this fantastic beach. Daily temperature was around 24 to 26 but It felt hotter. Buses ran all day to Palma and the Cathedral, is a must. Loved this hotel, right on the beach, not too fancy, great location in Santa Ponsa would definitely give this another go.

This hotel is in a great place just by the beach. Our apartment was facing the trees and sea ..we didn't request sea view but the sides of the hotel faced the shops and other hotels so we had the best views. Our room was for 3 adults and had 3 beds not 2 and a sofa bed which made my daughter very happy cos it's really frustrating when we pay the same but one of us is usually on a sofa bed. The maids were very kind and appreciated the fact we were trying to speak Spanish. The food wasn't cooked through one day and we had to take the bleeding meatballs back and they were rushed into the kitchen and other trays removed immediately, I think someone was gonna get a telling off. I was a bit annoyed by a female staff member rattling the tip dish at me as I was paying by card for drinks after our meal and I had no cash on me, her eyes were ablaze when I ignored her rattling and I wasn't amused at all, I understand staff like to be tipped because alot of the people are AI and so don't go to pay for drinks but I had tipped all day at the bar, had no coins and my notes were in the safe. When we left for home I tipped a selection of staff who had been nice but wouldn't have tipped her. Outside of the hotel there are loads of bars restaurants and shops. When you come out of the hotel turn right then right again which will set you on the long road to more and more places to eat and drink and keep following the road to the left and eventually you will come to the Square, we walked in the day to find it but didn't bother going back because it was too far although you could ride the bus or get a taxi but we thought we had better things closer. Santa ponsa is beautiful and so are lots of other places along the bus routes from the hotel and we travelled the buses alot so next time we go we will be moving further up the coast. Using the buses is so easy you pay less if using you bank card, if there are 2 of you, you tap your card twice on the sensor by the driver and when your getting off you tap it twice again by the door and that gives the correct cost of your trip but if you forget to tap out you get charged 30cents more. I would recommend the whalisabela hotel even with the few problems we had. The weather was amazing

Location said it all for us. Opposite the beautiful beach of Santa Ponsa and right in the middle of the action and the resort. There's not much wrong with this hotel apart from that the bathroom in our room was dated. It worked well though. Good water pressure in shower but it just needed to be updated and brighter maybe. Cleaners at the hotel do an excellent job and everything was always spotless. Pool on the smaller side but again clean and we usually went to the beach. Reception staff friendly and easy to communicate with. We'd stay here again.
