Lovely hotel and reception. Can tell back in the day it was a luxury hotel as is still frequented by elderly locals. Decor and furnishings were dated but quality.
Room upgrade to junior suite for 60 euros for 3 nights was nice.
Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant and bar staff were attentive and friendly. Overall a nice experience and hotel in great location. Thank you.

Nice hotel very close to Playa Sardinero. Very elegant on the outside, spacious and clean rooms, slightly dated. Price very variable based on seasonality. Parking is also available, in the surrounding area it is possible to find it in low season

Business trip to this hotel very close to the emblematic places of Santander, very well located!
Very large, comfortable and quiet rooms.
The young women at reception are very caring but the man who seems to have hierarchical power at reception is much less so and much less helpful to customers.
I nevertheless have very good memories of this hotel despite this nuance of the welcome.

We chose Santander more than anything for the location, which here was truly very happy. Then I asked for a parking space, with the possibility of electric charging, and I also got this. The room was beautiful, large and comfortable, with a nice large bed and a bathroom even equipped with a Jacuzzi, which we didn't use because it seemed rather old. In reality the whole building seems to have had splendid times, perhaps 40-50 years before, because the furnishings are from that era although very well kept. Even the guests of the hotel seemed to us to be regulars, rather elderly. It could easily have been a Hotel for a Woody Allen film. The only downside is the restaurant. We were tired and didn't want to bother looking for a restaurant (which we found the following evening and not far away). Dinner strictly NOT BEFORE 8.30pm, empty room until 9pm, except for us, with a surreal silence. Very unattractive menu dishes, let's say that for being in Spain it could have been less touristy. Patience. Recommended hotel for its location, it will not be among our wishes to return but pleasant to stay a couple of days in Santander, a very beautiful city and worth visiting.

This was an unplanned stay for one night so overall it was fine. Easy check in and out, good location for the promenade. Spacious room and bathroom. I asked for a room in a quiet part of the hotel. I was woken by doors slamming endlessly, cleaner next door. Thin walls! Also there is building works next door. I didn't eat there. Plenty of places around. Sardinero Beach was beautiful.
