el sardinero de Santander Recientemente renovado está claramente mucho mejor que estaba, pero le faltan detalles básicos que estropean la primera impresión En una ciudad como Santander no tienen paraguas para prestar a los visitantes que quieren dar un paseo y llueveeeee. Me han dicho que solo tienen dos !!!! No tienen tampoco planchas para prestar en las habitaciones, algo que en muchos hoteles hay en cada una de ellas. Hay que mejorar los detalles que hacen al visitante las cosas más fáciles.

Maravilloso hotel. Situado en plana playa del Sardinero. Perfectamente insonorizado. Confort increíble y sin echar en falta absolutamente nada. Un lugar para repetir sin niguna duda por su relación calidad precio y su ubicación. Hotel perfecto en el más amplio de los sentidos

This is a very modern hotel despite the olde world facade. Very pleasant decor and wonderful staff who had excellent English and were very helpful with recommendations . We availed of parking at the hotel, accessed by a lift, (you drive the car into a lift!, )as we had a lot of luggage and wanted secure parking but there was plenty free parking on surrounding streets in March. Our room was comfortable for our one night stay before getting ferry. I would skip breakfast at $16 per person , it was poor value . The hotel has a cafe and terrace open to the public and this would be a better option for breakfast. The hotel is beautifully located on the beach at El Sardinero , a suburb of Santander.Great walks and lots of cafes and restaurants. A ten minute drive from the ferry port. We will stay again when travelling in this direction.

Good value for money in February. Lovely room very quiet. Underground car park was really good though a bit difficult to access. The hotel was almost full but the restaurant was not open for dinner. The cafe round the side provides an adequate meal at a very good price but the ambiance was pretty poor. The reception staff were all excellent and really helpful. Fabulous position near to a ****** and lovely beach. Don’t waste your money on breakfast, it was very poor by comparison to all the other hotels on our trip. There are good restaurants and bars quite close.

What an excellent by hotel. I stayed here for three nights in January 2024. The rate for half-board was extremely reasonable. The reception staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. They spoke Spanish and English well. They booked me a taxi to take me to and from the Ely Castillo caves. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable with a great view of the sea. The breakfasts were delicious and the evening meals extremely varied with excellent service. The stay was so good that I will return again soon.
