The hotel has excellent location and magnificent view over the sea. The rooms are spacious, the impressive history of this hotel is like a novel, you can learn a lot. They have parking free of charge just in front of the hotel, and in walking distance almost to all interesting places in the city. However, some services are unavailable, which is a big gap for five star Gran Luxury hotel in this case. For example, the restaurant was not open during our stay. Or, on the other hand, there were no help with luggage as there were nobody in front door to help you. People, who work there, did all their best, and we appreciate those who were taking care of us in the bar or reception, but they can’t do miracles if some services are unavailable. The calamari dish in the bar was poor and not fresh, and that’s with all food in the bar.

The front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is far from town, so taxis are essential! The hotel doesn't really offer anything special for a 5 star hotel, so we were disappointed.

Un lujo al que le falla algún detalle pero que, sus empleados compensan con creces . Quizás el desayuno tiene poca variedad pero Cristina se esmera en que todo sea perfecto , lo que quieras lo busca para que la satisfacción del cliente sea 10. Excelente profesional. Igual que el resto de personas tanto de recepción, bar, etc. Habitación impecable

If you are looking for a property on the beach or with convenient access to the beach, do not stay here. The hotel is situated on a small hill, but there is no way to walk directly to the beach without walking out the back and taking a long way all the way around.
Also, the room was pretty dated but the bathroom was nice. Not sure about the rooms facing the water - these are more expensive and perhaps in better condition. Regardless, it was not a 5* hotel experience at all.
There was no air conditioning one night, which was terrible (and no compensation was provided for this inconvenience). Service was mixed - two of the bartenders were great but one of the front desk staff was not.
