Die Lage des Hotels in der Altstadt ist das größte Plus und zugleich der größte Nachteil des Hotels. Man ist in kürzester Zeit an allen Hotspots von Santiago. Aber leider auch mitten im Nachtleben. Und mit dem Markt direkt gegenüber geht’s morgens auch früh wieder los. Die Söhne und sauberen Zimmer sind perfekt in das wahrscheinlich uralte Gemäuer integriert. Das Frühstück würde ich, verglichen mit den Erfahrungen der letzten Wochen, als ok bezeichnen. Das Restaurant bewerte ich extra.

Really well located hotel in the old town and right by the market. Amazing food but if you want to eat in the restaurant in the evening you need to book. Clean bright, comfortable rooms and incredibly helpful and friendly staff

This hotel was wonderful for us in terms of location, service and comfort. It is right in the center of town, close to the outdoor market and cathedral. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The AC actually worked, which we can't say for many three star hotels in Spain. If you are sensitive to noise, the location might not be the best because there will be talking and shouting throughout the night, but we didn't mind it once we closed all the windows. The only negative thing we will say is how lame the breakfast was. Don't pay the hefty $14/pp for it if it is not already included in your rate. The food selection was extremely limited, and they ran out of so many things by 9am (breakfast is 8-10am) and was very slow to replenish due to lack of staff. We wished we had just gone elsewhere for breakfast. BUT, other than that, it was overall a very pleasant experience!

ottima posizione centrale e con un parcheggio a pagamento abbastanza comodo. le camere sono però molto spartane. nella nostra l'asta della doccia era rotta,il phon poco funzionante come pure la ventilazione del bagno..insomma... colazione buona ma molto scarsa solo pane e marmellata,insieme a una tortina che però era spesso finita,,poco prosciutto e formaggio..

Début août 2021, nous nous sommes rendus dans cet Hôtel. Nous avons été impressionnés par la qualité de l’accueil : chaleureux et très professionnel. Le personnel de l’hôtel nous a rapidement aiguillé vers les coins à visiter ou les bons restaurants. La qualité des services s’est vérifiée tout au long du séjour : personnel à l’écoute et flexible. Les chambres sont modernes et spacieuses. Décoration minimaliste. Sa situation est excellente, au cœur de la ville, à côté du marché couvert, qui est longé par de nombreux bons restaurants, dont celui de l’hôtel ( Café de l’Altamira, très bon également). En Bref, je recommande vivement.

We arrived home tonight from a four night stay at the Hotel Pazo de Altamira. On arrival at the hotel late on Tuesday night we were welcomed by the lovely Alba at reception. Alba was very welcoming and helpful and brought coffee to our room as it was very late when we arrived and everywhere was closed. We had a lovely room with balcony and the hotel overlooked the square which had a few cafe/bars - perfect location. The room was spacious and spotless. We had dinner on our last night in the lovely restaurant, service was excellent and the food was superb. On our last day Maria at reception ordered a taxi for us and again we were treated to coffee courtesy of Maria, while we waited for the taxi. Both Alba and Maria were so helpful, pleasant and efficient. Their attention to small details mattered. We would highly recommend the Hotel Pazo de Altamira and would definitely book again if we return to Santiago de Compostela. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.
