"Lovely hotel, only stayed for 1 night arriving late to be near the train station, was perfect for that. Vending machine and coffee @ reception. Lovely room and bathroom all spotless. Has a bath which might be nice to relax after walking, but shower powerful and hot. Huge balcony in the room and no noise from the street.  Kept our bag as we have left for a few days on Camino.  Would highly recommend."

"We were unfortunate to arrive Santiago de Compostela on the day Spain and Portugal suffered a country-wide power outage. However, the staff at Hotel Compostela made everything smooth of us. They facilitated our check even when their system is down and also assisted us with our luggage to our rooms. They were always attentive to our needs and always there to ensure we will be looked after. This is our second stay in this hotel and if we ever visit SCQ again, we will not hesitate to stay here again."

"Excellent with emphasis on design. See through reception (central atrium), secure and modern. All 3 star facilities, no russian plumbing, no nonsence. Quiet although in commercial area. Far from the madding shell persons ... but near enough"

"Next to the Santiago Cathedral, the end of the pilgrimage route, you can put down your hiking bag and change your clothes to go shopping. It's so convenient. The rooms are American style and very good. The only thing is that I can't get used to the breakfast there."
