Hotel Praza Quintana

Great location right beside the Cathedral. Room was clean and decent for a night's stay.

Around two minutes by foot to the cathedral. Very accessible to other major sites.

arrived in a rain storm and whilst reception lovely there is no way to check in early at all, so by 230 pm there was large groups of people hanging around the small lobby and breakfast area waiting to check in. probably one if the few places that i've ever stayed that had no flexibility with check in. (not even a minute before 3!) Also there is now a tourist city tax €2.20 pp per night, which is required to be paid in check in. Breakfast is €10 a selection of breads, cakes, fresh fruits, yoghurt, cheese,ham ...... whilst limited in range it certainly does the job! the rooms have all the pluses - individual air cons, kettle , cool box as it doesn't get as cold as a fridge (slightly annoying as it doesn't get cold enough) and most importantly walk in shower!!! the beds are extremely comfortable, of a good size - i love love love the exposed brick walls, adds so much character to the room!! the bathroom is spacious - limited amenities - soap and paper cup, but exceptionally clean and new and fresh looking, although some mold in the corner of the shower base also the door is very difficult to close, not a problem as i'm staying by myself, but a bit of WD40 may do the trick. But the best part about this beautiful brick hotel is the position - literally around the corner from the cathedral and square! Restaurants and shops are plentiful and the maze of streets are wonderful to wander aimlessly through.

Perfect location. Very nice hotel. Clean, friendly and room was very cozy. Service was excellent. The breakfast was good. They arranged taxi to airport.

Very welcoming staff at this boutique hotel. Small but efficient hotel room with a good bathroom. Ready well located right by the cathedral and only 300 meters from secure and spacious public parking. Recommend.

The room was lovely and the receptionist more than pleasant. The only problem was the noise from the kids partying in the street that went on until 5am. We were unable to sleep. I complained the following morning but was told a) the noise was outside and therefore not the hotel’s responsibility b) that this is to be expected on a Saturday night in Santiago and c) the night staff would not do anything as the last time they did so the kids in the street smashed the glass door of the hotel. All of this makes sense but I am left with a sleepless night and 200€ poorer. I would return to this hotel because the room was so lovely but never again on a Saturday or a Sunday. And I have to wonder why they asked me to pay on arrival.
