The location is conveniently located near the downtown area. You will need to climb the stairs, so be careful if you are carrying a suitcase. There was no hot water, and the room smelled of cigarettes (maybe smoke came in through the window). There are no amenities such as water or cotton, but considering the location and price, it is reasonable.

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Exclusive Plan Suites. The staff were amazing and truly went out of their way to help us whenever we needed it, from check in, to advice on getting around, and everything in between. The caldera view from our room was breathtaking. The hot-tub was always a welcome sight after a long day of hill climbing and walking (take the hike to Oia if you get the chance!), and it was always warm. Breakfast was served every morning, and there was always more than enough to eat. Location-wise, this spot is pretty convenient. We were only about a 10-12 minute walk to the shops in Fira (with great views along the way), so we never felt like we were far from whatever we wanted to do, but Firostefani is much quieter than Fira so it was nice to get back to the room after a day out and have a relaxing evening looking out over the water and checking out the cruise ships. I'm not sure what is going on with the beds, but we woke up rested every day! Probably the best sleeps we've ever had on vacation.

Based on the other reviews, I think your mileage here may vary depending on which room you get. I do see that others who stayed in the same rooms (small, ground level, bedroom without door, only bathroom access through the second bedroom, etc.) also left poor reviews. The lodgings we had were sub par with old and broken furniture, extremely small and uncomfortable beds, external door which barely closed, and the constant overwhelming smell of sewage really made this a less than comfortable spot. There also is no TV if you care about that, but the wifi was excellent. There’s also zero view, which is a shame. Do not be swayed by the promise of a “hot tub.” It is an inflatable affair, and is not super clean. In addition, beware, there is a camera pointing right at it. The breakfast was good, but not a huge selling point for us. We ended up here as we booked rather last minute. Honestly, I really regret that, because considering the lack of comfort, lack of sleep because of the awful beds, the really horrid smell (I still think about that smell when I remember Santorini), and just the overall vibe of the place, it really detracted from the enjoyment of our vacation. In summary: The location is excellent, but the place is more than a little gross. In addition , the price wasn’t great for what we got. The moral of this story is book early, and look harder for better options.

Thank you, Renta and staff, for a memorable stay in Santorini. I had some doubts about the suites’ location overlooking the Caldera and the climbing that might be required, but the hotel is easily accessible with lovely gentlemen who take your luggage down to your room and pick it up when you are ready to leave. The accommodations are roomy, well appointed, and have an incredible view of the sea. We had our own patio where we could eat an ample breakfast delivered every morning. On these same mornings when we were very lucky, a parade of donkeys and one mule would clop by the path near the hotel, carrying materials to nearby sites. Of course our stay in November meant that many restaurants and shops in Imeroviglia were closed, but Fira is nearby. Renta will call Nico to give you a ride into town. Both of them are so gracious and accommodating that we very much enjoyed our stay. Following Renta’s advice, we took the catamaran tour of the Caldera, a must for seeing the Caldera from the sea. The plus side of Santorini in November is a complete lack of crowds. Our weather was sunny and in the seventies every day, which may have been a Greek anomaly but perfect for us. I highly recommend the Aqua Luxury suites and staff.

Summary: This hotel is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it is all hills and steps (pretty steep, slippery and lots of them!). We will not be recommending or returning to this hotel! And probably not return to Santorini, which is suffering from too many tourists, especially large cruise ships without the infrastructure to cope! Sucha a shame for a pretty island. BTW. We fell in love with all the other islands we visited during our Greek island hopping holiday. Back to Nano Suites! All the TripAdvisor 5* ratings persuaded us to book this hotel. A mistake! Some of the reviews have negative comments and yet still rated as 5* !!! Also, I can now see that one review was NOT for this hotel because it mentions being “right in the middle of Oía”. This is obviously a different hotel! The good bits: Sunrise in a peaceful, quiet setting. Clean, spacious, beautifully furnished rooms. Ali and Marios are helpful, lovely, gentle men. The not-so good bits: 5 min walk from their car park up a steep slope of uneven, slippery, difficult cobble steps! The hotel is built on a hill so every public room is on a different level with steep unaided steps i.e. no rails. The rooms have air condenser units and air conditioning units because the rooms are and damp! This, means noise all day and NIGHT! The breakfast food is very average. We had 3 weeks on 4 different islands in the Cyclades. The food here was the worst we had! There is no manager “on the ground”. Meggy stays in the office; busy with administration. We planned to use the bus service having been told that the bus stops in the village. However, the bus does’s stop on the village any more, but on the main road with an impossible walk to the hotel. My fist husband found it hard with our bags. It was impossible for me with replacement hips and slightly weak muscles. I’m not disabled at all, but the walk from the bus stop is not suitable for those with any mobility limitation. The village restaurants are difficult walks steep slopes of uneven, slippery, difficult cobble steps! We ate at the village restaurants: Metaxi Max and Anemoloos. Anemoloos is a friendly, family-run restaurant; the food is OK and average price for Santorini. Metaxi Max is suffering from it’s success and greed - see my separate review for Metaxi Mas.

Fabulous, family run hotel, wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The accommodation was modern, extremely clean and comfortable. We booked this beautiful little place not knowing what to expect, but it turned out to be a fantastic find. Pros: - Clean and very spacious rooms - Beds are extremely comfortable - The breakfast is lovely & fresh - Close to the centre of Oia - Owners are extremely helpful & friendly - Outside area is picturesque and has stunning views - A lovely selection of restaurants nearby - Bus rout and transport to other areas is close by Cons: - WiFi didn’t seem to work very well at times - Hot water seemed to run out very quickly Only a couple of small things to tweak, but really cannot complain for the money we paid and the level of quality we got. Would stay here again anytime!

We have just returned from our week stay at The Notos and this hotel has definitely got the wow factor. It is a traditional white building built into the hillside overlooking the harbour, the latter is what gives it the wow factor I could watch this view every day and never tire of it. This does come at cost though and I'm not talking about the euros but the many steep steps up to the hotel and the rooms it's definitely not for anyone with mobility issues. The rooms are immaculate and something we have found is a rarity during our travels around Greece the beds are soft and very comfortable. The sheets and towels are looking a bit dingy as their whiteness has long gone! There are complimentary toiletries and the aircon is included this being very welcoming after the heat of the sun. The staff are very polite and helpful and I recommend you ask for help with the cases instead of struggling with them on the steps as they make it look easy! We have only one complaint and that's the food, we had decided to go half board as the hotel is quite remote and we don't drive but we were disappointed. The breakfast was ok offering the usual fruit, yoghurt, meat, cheese ,bread, greek bacon and sausage with a couple of choices of bread . There was no English tea and the coffee machine wasn't amazing. Our main complaint was the evening meal , the choice was very limited and basic which for a hotel with this star rating is in our opinion not good enough. The ala carte menu was equivalent of a beach bar menu with the first item being chicken nuggets but with a price tag that belongs to a fine dining restaurant . The cost of the drinks was extortionate too €10 for 330ml of a bottle of Sol or €8 for the same of alpha and if you like a bottle of wine with your meal expect to pay €43 for house white. So would I recommend this hotel, absolutely but bed and breakfast only and hire a car as there is very little in the way of choice ( Suzy's up the road is excellent!) and taxis are expensive. There is a land train that charges €8 a return trip to Perissa where there are many tavernas and snack bars.

Perfect
GGuest UserIt was a wonderful hotel! For the welcome drink, you could choose alcohol, but I ordered a soft drink. The facilities in the room and the shared pool were both very good. The staff were also kind and I had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was especially great, and we could order as much of whatever we wanted. The location of the room made it a little difficult to carry luggage, but considering the topography of Oia, I think this can't be helped. The blue domes cannot be seen from the room, but it is less than a 10-minute walk away, so it is not inconvenient. Instead, we could see a beautiful sunset from the room. I have read many reviews of other hotels, but there is no bad plumbing or smell like other hotels, and I can't find anything bad about it. This is a hotel that makes you want to stay again.

GGuest UserThe property is located in a quiet spot on the southern side of the island. The view from there is magnificent, especially from the bedroom on the first floor in the morning or from the pool at sunset. The room has all the expected amenities and then some: a large jacuzzi for 2, a fully packed - and included - mini bar, a coffee and tea corner and a hairdryer. A bottle of wine was even waiting for us on arrival. Breakfast can be served in the room or at the bar by the pool and includes a wide variety of choices - who can resists these delicious pancakes? Or croissants? Or omelette? Or... Back to the location, obviously one will need a vehicle to visit the rest of the island - Fira is about 20 minutes away and Oia 45 minutes by car. Fortunately, Santorini offers a choice of cars, quads and scooters so there is a solution for each budget. We preferred Fira over Oia, but there are many other beautiful areas to visit also. The room was cleaned and tidied everyday to high standards and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Our guest offered a warm welcome when we arrived and even let us stay for coffee by the pool after we checked out - you don't see that in other hotels. In summary, Absolute Paradise must be one of the best hotels in Santorini. Paradise, absolutely.

GGuest UserGreat location, it's on the main road in centre of Oia. You won't miss it even you checked in at midnight. Restaurants, souvenirs stores, supermarkets, ATMs all near by within mins of walk. Breath taking Caldera sea view although no sunset view. Hot tub is really hot around 35~38C, not just warm as other hotels. However you must be very very careful when get in and out of the outdoor hot tub on the upper deck as there is no stairs, you have to climb into the tub and step on the bench when you get out. My husband fell down because of the slippery bench and non stable cushion on top of the bench especially no handle or rail to hold on the wall. He could only hold the small table when fell down and the wine glass fell down and broke as well. It could be a tragedy but luckly he didn't hurt. The staffs reacted fast and clean up immediately. They cared about our safety regardless we brought them extra work. The service is excellent! Great staffs at the bar, house keeping and reception! Breakfast time is at your own choice. You'll need to order a 3 selections breakfast and 1 drink when checkin. Breakfast is on the patio right in front of our room with seaview by the pool. It's a once in a life time experience, feel like celebrities having vacation in a 10 stars hotel by the Aegean Sea. Pool water is too cold to swim in April. The shower area is a bit old and paint peeling, bed is too soft and we couldn't sleep well. Welcome drinks, bottle of wine in the room, 1 bottle of beer, soda,2 bottles of water and cokes in the mini bar are all included. Overall it is a wonderful stay and we look forward to stay again.

TTylerFrom the warm welcome the moment we arrived at the hotel, we knew this we were going to have a very special stay at this property. The hotel is located in the dead center of Oia -- making it an easy 10 - 15 min walk to get to anything in the area and easily accessible to the taxi stand, bus stop, restaurants, shops, and more. The views are second to none -- literally everywhere you look is another postcard perfect photo opportunity. The suites are not only beautiful and spotless, but well maintained, charming, spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The outdoor spaces are comfortable and are the perfect place to enjoy a beverage, dip in the pool or hot tub, or your daily breakfast. I wanted to especially thank the housekeeping staff for their outstanding job keeping our room so clean (twice daily service) and Georgia and Kim for taking such good care of us. No stay is perfect, and even when we had a few very minor glitches, they both responded with care and lightning speed to go above and beyond to surprise and delight us. I can't wait to return to this fairytale property. Do yourself a favor and look no further -- you've found the perfect place to call home on your visit to Santorini!

RRealCalifornianWhite Pearl Villas was wonderful! As we arrived, we were proactively greeted by a member of the staff. He attended to our baggage and walked us down to the Aqua Villa Dream room. The room wasn’t on the highest part of Oia, but it was near a great terrace which had lawn chairs and which we used for photos. Our room has a personal terrace as well with a comfortable chair, but the view from there wasn’t the best. As we entered the room, we saw that we’d been given a complimentary bottle of wine as well as a bottle of water. The staff member gave us a quick tour of the room, which was interestingly shaped and carved into the cliff. It felt very unique and cozy. We had a smart television that we used for Netflix, as well as a refrigerator. The room also had a jacuzzi, though we didn’t use it as we were visiting in August and it was already quite warm outside. The plunge pool had a cool window that opened to the ocean, though. The bathroom was a bit small, but the shower was good quality with strong water pressure and consistent temperature. The staff added me on WhatsApp for easy communication which was GREAT. The bed was very comfortable with nice sheets as well as a hollow headboard which was good for putting our phones and other things over night. Everything in the room was cleaned when we arrived. There was also a cleaning service when we were away during the day. The air conditioner was strong and there was a dehumidifier as well. There were plenty of towels and outlets, though we of course needed a converter for our American electronic devices. There was a coffee maker with easy to use pods, as well as 2 pairs of soft white slippers. We did not try the breakfast or the massage service. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. My only wish is that the view directly from our room was a bit better, as the room is tucked into the mountainside. However, there were nice photo spots all around us, so we only had to take 20 steps to get a nice view of the sunrise or sunset in comfy chairs. If I return to Santorini, I will absolutely stay here again!

GGuest UserLovely hotel that is very central in Fira. We stayed on the hotel side of Antonia and loved the decor of the room. We appreciated that they had shutters outside to help keep the noise and light of the room. The room was nicely appointed with many lights and we enjoyed the decor. The bed and pillows were very comfy and we appreciated that there was a coffee/tea station and a mini fridge in the room. The room was large enough for the two of us and there was a nice small balcony outside with a small table and two chairs. The bathroom shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The bed only had one sheet on it but there was a comforter and the temperature was easy to control. There was slippers available in the room which were good for the cold washroom floor. The hotel rooms have smart TVs that are easy to connect to for Disney+ or Netflix but you have to install an application if you'd like to screencast. The hotel has some nice common areas to hang out including two pool areas and a space by reception. The pools were closed when we came in March but it was also a little cool so we did not mind. They should be cleaned and ready to go by the summer. We really enjoyed the space by reception where there are lots of seats and benches to sit and hang out with other guests, or in our case the rest of our family. Anytime you are in the common area the staff will offer to make you a coffee or tea which was very nice of them. The staff are sincere and welcoming. Once we checked in they asked if we had some time or if we would want to go directly to our rooms. We said we would have time and they brought out a map of Santorini and marked down the places we could check out during our stay. The hotel also offers a good tour of the island for 40 Euros per person which includes 7 stops including Oia, red sand beach, a black sand beach and the monestary. We had 5 people in our group and did our own tour using a car rental company nearby but would consider the hotel's tour if we were just a couple. The hotel staff were helpful and responsive even before we came - they assisted us with a booking error I had made and we resolved it quickly over the phone and a short email. Transport to/from the hotel from the airport is easy because there is a bus station nearby and it costs 2 euros per person and the bus station is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The bus wasn't running too frequently during our stay on Santorini and if that is the case during your stay you can book the hotel's shuttle service - they have a large comfy van and charge 7 Euros per person. The alternative is a taxi and you are at the will of the driver for the ~10 minute drive and could be charged 40-50 from what we hear. The hotel does not offer breakfast or room service but there are many good restaurants nearby. The hotel recommended a few that were within a five minute walk of the hotel and the one we tried was lovely. There is a grocery store about 100 m from the hotel that has pretty much everything and there's a bakery near the Fira Main Square. Souvenirs can also be bought at the Fira Main Square and they probably have the best prices we saw in Santorini for souvenirs! Overall, it was a great stay and because we stayed in March we got an awesome price. The room we had was nice, quiet and comfy during our stay.

GGuest UserThe real cliff cave suite, the room is large, breakfast looks at the sea, cool! The outdoor bathtub is clean and hot. Fully equipped and good view. In the core location of the town, it is very close to where to go, it is necessary to go up and down the steps, no way, living in Yiya Town is like this. The luggage hotel will be responsible for carrying to the room, you can also provide a drop-off appointment, and the luggage is also responsible for sending to the pick-up point. It is recommended to contact the hotel in advance to the store and leave the details of the time. You can find the car yourself and carry the luggage.

GGuest UserWe arrived earlier in the day & asked if we could do early check in. We were told that the room we have booked isn’t available early, so we could upgrade to another room & get early check in option. We agreed. When we checked in the room didn’t look like any upgrade, as it was pretty basic. Also, if these are how most of the rooms are, they aren’t great. The room had a stair to go ‘up’ where a tiny bed was places, and the ceiling was so low that even a 5-foot height tiny person like me would bump her head. The stairs aren’t too safe, so if you have to walk down in the middle of the night to use the bathroom below the bed area, you better be fully awake & cautious if your steps. Shower didn’t work properly with hot/cold water. I couldn’t wash my hair, had to quickly get out of the shower. I would have preferred, if they just told us there was an extra charge for early check in. In case I’m wrong, and this room was indeed an ‘upgrade’ then I don’t know what the basic room will be. Can’t imagine what would be even lesser. Maybe no window / balcony. The swimming pool was closed, probably because it was still cold when we went. The property looks nice though, it’s just 10 mins taxi ride from the city square. The rooms have a balcony & peaceful view as there aren’t too many buildings around. It’s quite & clean. Just that the rooms are too basic & the tiny bed in tiny space was uncomfortable for two people to sleep in. It was claustrophobic for me. Couldn’t sleep well, couldn’t bathe well. But I did enjoy sitting in the balcony & sipping my tea in peace.

CCê OtuskiI have to confess that I was a bit worried about the place when I made my reservation. Read many bad reviews, esp regarding the bathroom. Most of those were not accurate at all. The bathroom doesn't flood (at least mine did not), the room is not like in the photos, but better (I loved my room!) and the staff, ohhh the staff.. the most lovely I could've ever found on the island!! The manager/owner is such a nice person, who'll make you feel at home! Highly recommended!
