I recently had the pleasure of staying at The b sapporo for six nights, and I can confidently say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the excellent service provided by the staff made me feel welcomed and valued. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any inquiries truly set the tone for my stay.
One of the highlights was the wonderful Japanese breakfast served each morning. The variety and quality of the dishes were impressive, offering a perfect start to the day. I particularly enjoyed the fresh ingredients and traditional flavors that made each meal a culinary delight.
The hotel's location is another significant advantage. It is conveniently situated next to several convenience stores, which made it easy to grab snacks or essentials on the go. Additionally, the proximity to the shopping area and access to Pole Town made exploring Sapporo a breeze. I appreciated being able to step out and immerse myself in the local culture without having to travel far.
A lovely touch that I looked forward to every afternoon was the selection of tarts, cookies, coffee, and tea offered in the lobby until 6 PM. It was a perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing and provided a cozy atmosphere to relax in.
The b sapporo is a newly built hotel, and it shows. The cleanliness of the facilities was impeccable, and the modern decor added a fresh feel to the space. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet, allowing for restful nights after busy days.
Overall, my stay at The b sapporo was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and quality service in Sapporo.

This was an ideal base for my solo adventure in Sapporo. The location couldn't have been better-right in Susukino, with so many restaurants and shops nearby to explore.
The room was small but spotless and modern, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
Plus there are free cakes in the afternoon
For the price, it's hard to beat the value and convenience, especially if you're looking to dive into Sapporo's lively food scene and local attractions. I'd stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at The b Sapporo for 7 days in late August to early September 2024.
The standard twin room is nice. Air cond and the dehumidifier were running well.
Shower was excellent. Bath towels, toothbrushes and slippers are delivered to the room daily. Toilettes are supplied free at the lobby as well as coffees/teas/ice creams. There is also a coin operated washing machine, it was so handy.
The front desk staff, particularly Nagai and other young girls and boys, and room attendants are very nice and helpful except the Front Desk Manager, a Japanese man, who was rude. He never greeted guests in the morning or evening (either English/Japanese). No smile at all. Even though I said "Hello, good morning, how are you?" in English and Japanese to him, he had no response and just looked at me, he was so arrogant and impolite! Afterwards, I did not greet him again for the rest of my stay. He definitely needs to go for proper customer service training to improve his attitude as working at the front desk!!!

Hotel is very close to Susukino station which is only a 5-10mins walk and you can easily access from Sapporo station. There’s also a lot of restaurants, and shops around which is really convenience for tourists.

Nothing really wrong with this hotel, we had a good stay and it’s in a nice location. One thing I was surprised about was the discrepancy between the hotel pictures and the actual room, it’s tiny and way more simple that I expected. Nevertheless it was a fine place for a good price.

Location:
2 min walk from the main shopping streets. Many supermarkets and stores are even closer. Directly opposite the bus stop from the Airport bus, so very very good location
Hotel Room:
It's small but very efficient and effective. There is a large desk, tables, 2 chairs and a bed. Everything is modern and clean with a fridge (no freezer). The bathroom is slightly small but not cramped. But because everything was placed well and clean and modern, it feels bigger than it is.
There are USB ports and plugs on each side of the bed
Hotel Features:
There is a laundry room, smoking room and self service luggage storage too. There is no point of the breakfast. The breakfast was one small portion of soup (you have a choice of only 2 flavors) and 1 piece of bread (no options of bread) and coffee or tea (not even any juice or water) - save the money and just go 7-11 instead.
Overall:
The room is clean. Towels are changed daily and the room is tided each day too with sheets being changed every 3-4 days. The location is good. If the breakfast was better then it's good to stay here as its the only downside.

Loved my stay here as a solo traveller in Sapporo. Very central and convenient location, standard room size, great services, all the basics are done well. Super close to the airport bus stop on the way in. Would consider booking here again.

The hotel is strategically located at the heart of Susukino area of Sapporo. Free snacks but you need to compete with greedy foreign guests who will just bring half of the cookies to their rooms
