The building is old 🤭
But the bath is one of the best in Hokkaido's three major hot springs 😊
The carp streamers straddling the river behind the hotel are a sight to behold 😊
And what's more, you can make your own hot spring* in the river 😋

The hotel is old, but it is well-cleaned and not uncomfortable.
The mountain in front of the hotel was beautiful. If I had to say one thing, it was unpleasant to see the foreign staff tidying up right in front of me during dinner. They were just throwing trash everywhere!! I was shocked.
I asked for all-you-can-drink, but they said "please wait a moment" but there was no response, so 30 minutes wasted.
Even so, I couldn't believe my eyes at the long line for food.
I think they need to spread out the food a bit more.
They didn't seem to understand that foreign tourists were told that drinks were charged for, so they kept filling up the buffet with juice.
It would have been nice if juice had been part of the buffet.

Very good hot spring hotel. Especially suitable for travelers like us who don't speak Japanese. There is a bus to pick us up at the north gate of JR station at 2pm (by appoin**ent) and return at 10am the next day. The hotel has good hot springs, many pools and good environment. The buffet in the morning and evening is very rich. The room is spacious and clean, with a bathtub.

The location is good for taking the airport limousine, but it was a bit inconvenient to get to Suzukino.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing compared to the reviews.

Overall, I was satisfied. I stayed for 2 nights and was satisfied with the bathhouse, the izakaya on the 3rd floor, and the coffee shop on the 1st floor.
I don't think I'll get tired of it even if I ask them to stay another night.

This hot spring resort is very close to Sapporo and is considered a relatively large hot spring hotel in the area. The meals are very fresh and are all local seafood ingredients from Hokkaido. The hot springs are great too!
