The Knot Sapporo ★★★
"Excellent location, right next to Tanukikoji Shopping Street. The rooms are bright and clean, and the hotel staff are all very enthusiastic and patient. It was a great experience."
Portom International Hokkaido ★★★★★
A luxury airport-adjacent hotel featuring refined interiors, art-inspired design, and a calm, premium stay experience.
Richmond Hotel Sapporo Odori ★★★
"🧭: The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation. It's an easy walk to Odori Park ⛲️ and the TV Tower 🗼. ✅: The hotel provides POLA shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which is a great value for money. The lobby also offers other toiletries, coffee, and tea bags, which guests can pick up as needed. ✍️: The hotel's back door connects directly to Tanukikoji Shopping Street, 4th Block, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. No more getting lost! 😂"
Hotel Forza Sapporo Station ★★★★
"The biggest plus for this hotel is its excellent location, right opposite the JR station. The breakfast here is also quite good; although everything is served in very small portions, the quality is decent. This time, I specifically booked the 27-square-meter Nordic Twin Room, which is considered a more spacious room type. However, it was very strange that there was no proper desk in the room, only a very small coffee table. I had to place my cosmetics on the windowsill. There was also no luggage rack, so my elderly travel companion had to put their suitcase on the floor and bend over to pack. Additionally, the room cleaning was very careless. Water stains on the faucet and hair on the floor were never cleaned. Although there was a capsule coffee machine in the room, we stayed for three days and the capsules were never refilled."
FUN GATE HOTEL SAPPORO ★★★
"The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped, clean, and tidy. The front desk staff were polite, and overall, I had a great experience. The location is super close to Tanukikoji, and from there, you can easily walk through the underground shopping street to Susukino or Sapporo Station. Highly recommended!"
Hotel Emion Sapporo ★★★★
"The room is so comfortable, fully equipped with amenities. The cleaning is perfect, even though we didn’t ask them to clean every days (we stay for 4 nights). The public bath is superb for a hotel in city. If you like shopping, it might a little off the street, you have to walk a bit to the station but that’s not trouble us."
Sapporo Grand Hotel ★★★★★
A historic 5-star hotel blending classic hospitality with modern comforts in a prime location near Odori Park, the Sapporo Clock Tower, and the subway system.
Vessel Hotel Campana Susukino ★★★★
A well-rated 4-star hotel located in the lively Susukino district of Sapporo.
Hotel One's Residence ★★★★
"I wanted to get fresh towels, but my requests through the website went unanswered, so I ended up using the same towel throughout my stay. However, overall, I really liked the room. The facilities and amenities were excellent, making it a place I'd definitely want to stay at again! It's also quite close to the subway station and shopping areas, and having a 7-Eleven right across the street was super convenient!"

Hotel Sosei Sapporo - MGallery Collection
"Facilities are pretty new and in pristine conditions. The staff is professional and quite helpful. We also used the hotel parking with our rental car. The best part of the stay (and we would highly recommend trying) is the hotel breakfast buffet- great value for price! High quality food, great service and delightful variety."
InterContinental Sapporo by IHG
"The hotel is relatively new, and the front desk service was perfectly fine. During my stay, I wanted something cold to drink, and when I called the front desk, their response time and service-mindedness were excellent! Definitely worth praising. The housekeeping staff even folded my clothes (though I messed them up right away), but it definitely added a nice touch. This is a hotel I would consider staying at again next time I'm in Sapporo."
Jozankei View Hotel
"The buffet spread was good and nice onsen spa. However, the onsen is does not allow customers with Tattoos."
APA Hotel and Resort (Sapporo)
"Even with the sudden room change, they were incredibly accommodating, and it was a great help."
Blue Hotel Octa (Adult Only)
"The room was clean and the food was delicious."
Cross Hotel Sapporo
"Nice modern, clean, comfortable room. Just a little far from main shopping area but near clock tower."
Hotel Keihan Sapporo
"The location is excellent. From Sapporo Station, take the West Exit and walk west past one intersection, and you'll see a FamilyMart. The hotel is located in the alley behind the convenience store. Alternatively, you can use the underground passage and exit from behind Daimaru Department Store. Both Hokkaido University and the Sapporo City Hall are within walking distance, and Hokkaido University is truly beautiful. Dining options around the hotel are convenient. There's a McDonald's at the intersection, as well as yakiniku and ramen restaurants. Daimaru Department Store closes at 8 PM. In Hokkaido, many restaurants close early, except for izakayas and convenience stores, so be mindful of dinner times. Even at New Chitose Airport, most places stop taking customers by 8:30 PM. The communal bath on the second floor is free to use; you just need to pick up a ticket from the front desk daily. The breakfast can be a bit repetitive as it's the same every day, but it features Hokkaido specialties like curry and miso ramen. For lunch, you can try the famous Hokkaido soup curry at the corner, it's absolutely delicious. For convenience stores, FamilyMart is the closest, just a few dozen meters away. There are also other FamilyMarts and 7-Elevens behind the hotel, some of which offer tax-free shopping. The room is a bit small. The shower head and hairdryer are both Refa brand. On the first floor, you can help yourself to coffee powder and tea bags, and umbrellas and chargers are available for borrowing. The laundry room and microwave on the second floor are very convenient. The origami dinosaurs at the Hokkaido University Museum are really cute. And there's ice cream everywhere. The curry in the photo is from the restaurant next to the hotel; I recommend giving it a try."
Premier Hotel-Cabin-Sapporo
"Great place, amazing breakfasts and onsen. However, it’s a bit old and located a bit far from the stations"
HOTEL MYSTAYS Premier Sapporo Park
"It was pretty good. The view from the 24th floor was excellent, and the public bath was larger than the Dormy Inn I stayed at before. The triple room was also very nice. Although the 0.9-meter-wide bed was a bit narrow for my 14-year-old, he didn't mind, and I prefer us all sleeping together, as it helps us bond more with him. The only hassle was the air conditioning was too hot; I suggest they not turn it off completely but instead set it to the lowest temperature of 18 degrees."
Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Sapporo Susukino Junction
"The airport limousine bus stop is conveniently located right in front of the hotel, making travel to and from the airport very easy. The room is compact in typical Japanese style, but it doesn’t feel cramped. There is enough space to store suitcases underneath the bed, which is very convenient. The room is very clean. Housekeeping is provided daily, and the bath towels, face towels, and bath mats are replaced every day. The complimentary cream provided by the hotel was excellent and had a wonderful fragrance. I was especially impressed with the breakfast. It was delicious, and the menu changed daily, offering a nice variety throughout my stay. The front office staff were extremely helpful and provided excellent assistance whenever needed. The restaurant staff were also very attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service"
Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo
"Neat, clean and was newly renovated. Good location just a couple hundred meters from Sapporo JR station, as well as shopping area and restaurants. Just need more self-service washing drying machines to reduce the queuing."
THE GATE HOTEL SAPPORO by HULIC
A stylish, upscale hotel with refined interiors, a strong design focus, and a central location near key city attractions.
Tmark City Hotel Sapporo Odori
"I think this hotel is pretty good. The surrounding area is relatively quiet, and it's not far from the subway station. They also offer replaceable disposable toiletries that can be changed daily. Highly recommended!"
