Guest UserWe were welcomed by soft serve ice cream at L2 and self-help coffee at the lobby. Chose this hotel as it has washer/ dryer IN the room with delay timer. Some say it takes 4 hours to wash n dry. I used but didn’t take note how long it takes. Clothes came out almost wrinkle free which impressed me. Room layout is spacious to accommodate our 3 nights stay whereby we bought a lot of stuff and we can comfortably sit at the table to eat. There is even a microwave oven in the room! The hotel uses Refa shampoo, conditioner n body foam which smells great. Best hair dryer (Refa) too! Within walking distance to Tanukikoji Street 5 and Susukino. Drinking water (room temperature n cold) are available at Level 2.

Joyful Solo
This was my first stay at Via Inn Prime Sapporo, and the location is definitely the highlight. Being right on Tanukikoji is so convenient, there are tons of restaurants and shops just steps away.
The room was a bit small, but that’s typical for Japan. For a solo traveler, it was perfectly fine and, most importantly, very clean. The check-in lobby on the 2nd floor has a really comfortable atmosphere. I liked that you can pick up your own amenities like toothbrushes and coffee there. The staff were also very polite and spoke good English.
I I had breakfast buffet at the 1st-floor restaurant for 1,980 yen. The food was fresh, tasty, and had a good variety. The only thing is that the coffee was a bit light for my taste, but everything else was great. The restaurant was tidy, and the staff were very polite and quick to refill the food.
Overall, a very satisfying 5-day stay. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again when I’m back in Hokkaido!

Guest UserLarge room Suitable for people traveling with family, good price, get 2 bedrooms, kitchen zone, living room, great value, parking (paid but cheap), opposite, convenient walk across the road. In a quiet, safe neighborhood, may be a little confusing when checking in, checking out, must leave before 10.00 hrs. Because 10.00 a.m., there will be a housekeeper to clean up.

AnMacsI stayed at Granbell Hotel Tanuki Sapporo for a few days as a solo traveler while waiting for my family to arrive in Sapporo, and it turned out to be a very pleasant stay.
The location was perfect—close to shopping areas, restaurants, and everything I needed. I also enjoyed their public onsen, which was a great way to relax after exploring the city.
Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, and I would gladly consider staying here again.

Anonymous UserFor a comfort-style hotel, the facilities, environment, and price are quite well-matched! The location is excellent, right next to Tanukikoji and near Exit 35 of Odori Station, which is super convenient. It's about an 8-minute walk to Sapporo TV Tower and Odori Park.
My experience with the service felt a bit polarizing, though. 😂 The lounge in the lobby was a huge plus, a real 'soft' service that definitely made it feel like great value for money! However, since I stayed for three consecutive nights, I understood and accepted that the sheets and duvet covers wouldn't be changed. I only asked for fresh bath and hand towels, but they literally *only* replaced the bath and hand towels each day. 😓😓 I was quite surprised that the toilet and bathtub (since the shower is in the tub) weren't cleaned at all. 😂
Overall, the value for money is still quite good! I'd definitely stay here again next time!

AnnattaThe hotel provides all you needs...
It was proper and clean.
staff is helping enough...
location is near to odori park about 500 metres walking distance, near to susukino about 500 metres walking distance, and 1.7km from sapporo station. But I think no problem for us, because our centre point is not the station
Breakfast also good . They also provides free ice.cream and coffee everyday at 10 am until 5 pm. So nice.

BeileweiertangxianzuThis hotel is incredible! I've never stayed in such a spacious hotel in Japan before. The environment is fantastic, and they even have an executive lounge. It's truly perfect. My only regret is that I only booked one night. I wish I had booked more!

The room amenities are a bit dated, but I find that's pretty standard for Japanese hotels. Still, it was good – there was a bedside lamp, a radio, and a heater switch. Plus, it had two chairs and enough space to open two 26-inch suitcases, which is a big plus. The front desk staff were also excellent; they were very patient and accommodating when I needed to store my luggage, and their translation device worked perfectly.

The value for money is a bit low. The room is very small and the soundproofing isn't good. The hot spring bath is tiny. How should I put it... if I had to choose again, I probably wouldn't book here. The location isn't far from Tanukikoji, and the cleanliness is just average.
