Guest UserHad a wonderful stay at the hotel during our trip to Sapporo. The location was very convenient, making it easy to explore the city and nearby attractions. Very near to Odori Station. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
One feature we especially loved was having a washer/dryer inside the room — it made such a huge difference during our trip. Being able to do laundry anytime without waiting for shared machines was incredibly convenient, especially after long days of sightseeing and shopping.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall the stay was comfortable and hassle-free. Highly recommended for families, long stays, or anyone who appreciates the convenience of in-room laundry. Would definitely stay here again!

Joyful Solo
This was my first stay at Via Inn Prime Sapporo, and the location is definitely the highlight. Being right on Tanukikoji is so convenient, there are tons of restaurants and shops just steps away.
The room was a bit small, but that’s typical for Japan. For a solo traveler, it was perfectly fine and, most importantly, very clean. The check-in lobby on the 2nd floor has a really comfortable atmosphere. I liked that you can pick up your own amenities like toothbrushes and coffee there. The staff were also very polite and spoke good English.
I I had breakfast buffet at the 1st-floor restaurant for 1,980 yen. The food was fresh, tasty, and had a good variety. The only thing is that the coffee was a bit light for my taste, but everything else was great. The restaurant was tidy, and the staff were very polite and quick to refill the food.
Overall, a very satisfying 5-day stay. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again when I’m back in Hokkaido!

DiaoxipilangmeilediI just realized I completely forgot to take photos of the room! It looked pretty much like the sample pictures on Trip.com.
Japanese hotels are generally small, and this one wasn't particularly spacious, but I could open up my 26-inch suitcase on the floor.
**Location:** It's at the end of Tanukikoji Shopping Street. It's a bit of a walk to Susukino and Odori Station, but there are plenty of great places to eat along the way. Ichiran Ramen, Katsu Ichi Sen Conveyor Belt Sushi, Soul Store Soup Curry, and Espresso D Works for brunch are all within walking distance. So, aside from when I was arriving and departing (when I'd take a taxi to Sapporo Station), I walked everywhere else to digest after meals.
**Cleanliness:** They clean every two days, which is acceptable.
**Facilities:** There's no bathtub, but the shower pressure is excellent and very comfortable. What's worth mentioning are their Pola toiletries – after using them, my hair felt incredibly light and voluminous, with no tangles at all. There's an outdoor onsen on the top floor, but I didn't get to try it, which is a shame.
Overall, it's pretty good value for money; the location is great, making it convenient for travel.

Guest UserLarge room Suitable for people traveling with family, good price, get 2 bedrooms, kitchen zone, living room, great value, parking (paid but cheap), opposite, convenient walk across the road. In a quiet, safe neighborhood, may be a little confusing when checking in, checking out, must leave before 10.00 hrs. Because 10.00 a.m., there will be a housekeeper to clean up.

Novak001The location is fantastic! You can access Tanukikoji shopping street directly from the back door, and it's a short walk to places like the prefectural office. The room was spacious, and the breakfast curry rice was delicious, especially with an onsen egg (mostly because Hokkaido rice is so good!). Coming back after a day out and having a soak in the large public bath on the top floor was incredibly relaxing.

AnnattaThe hotel provides all you needs...
It was proper and clean.
staff is helping enough...
location is near to odori park about 500 metres walking distance, near to susukino about 500 metres walking distance, and 1.7km from sapporo station. But I think no problem for us, because our centre point is not the station
Breakfast also good . They also provides free ice.cream and coffee everyday at 10 am until 5 pm. So nice.

Guest UserI had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Grand Mercure Sapporo. One of the highlights was definitely the lounge, which offered a wide variety of snacks and drinks throughout the day. It was well-stocked, nicely presented, and provided a great space to relax, whether for a quick refreshment or to spend some quiet time.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and soothing, making it an excellent place for rest and recovery. The environment felt peaceful, and everything was designed to help guests unwind. After a busy period of work, this stay served as the perfect break to recharge both physically and mentally.
I also appreciated how the hotel balanced comfort with convenience, creating a space where I could truly disconnect from work stress while still feeling well taken care of. This trip left me with very good memories, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or even a short work break. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The room amenities are a bit dated, but I find that's pretty standard for Japanese hotels. Still, it was good – there was a bedside lamp, a radio, and a heater switch. Plus, it had two chairs and enough space to open two 26-inch suitcases, which is a big plus. The front desk staff were also excellent; they were very patient and accommodating when I needed to store my luggage, and their translation device worked perfectly.

WENDYwenyingBooked a day tour to Bukdo-do from back home, and this hotel was within the pick-up/drop-off range. The room itself was a good choice, the surrounding area is lovely, and it's very convenient for transport. Plus, the hotel even has hot springs!
