Amazing
GGuest UserLoved the hotel! The amenities provided were great, everything you could need in a hotel room was there. If you are going to take this hotel, take note that there’s an underground passage from the station to the hotel (I think the hotel could look into making a guide for tourist who are coming to the hotel using the train). But nontheless, even if you were to just walk outside, it it still very accessible. Staffs were okay, just nice. Theres also a 7-11 so very convenient.
WWenwubaobeiAdaI stayed in a 24sqm room, and I thought it was decent, not small at all. There was enough space to open my luggage. Breakfast is served on both the 22nd floor and the 1st floor. If you want the set menu on the 22nd floor for the next day, you can reserve it in advance. The hotel staff were friendly. The hotel shuttle goes directly to the airport, but there was no shuttle due to heavy snow. Also, shuttle tickets can only be purchased on the day of travel, not in advance.
HHaidawayGood hotel which located near the Sapporo station. I stayed there for 6D5N and it was snowing for a couple of days. So staying near the subway and APIA was important to us. There’s a public Onsen bath and open lounge for guests so it was good. A couple of downside was that there was some smell in the washroom, not sure if from the gutter or bathtub. And another thing was that the bedsheet was a bit uncomfortable compared to other Keio hotel. All in all a decent hotel for any tourists that wanted to stayed in central Sapporo area.
SSuiranshijingshenbingdanshimeiguanxiA truly pleasant stay! The hotel is conveniently located, just a ten-minute walk from Sapporo Station, and the surrounding area is quiet. Although the room wasn't spacious, it was well-designed, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, were very friendly and welcoming, and proactively offered advice on city transportation. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, with a good mix of Japanese and Western dishes, and I especially recommend the freshly prepared hot food. The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. It's a highly cost-effective choice for both business trips and city sightseeing. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Sapporo.

Great
TTeckengThe location is excellent, just a stone’s throw from Tanukikoji Shopping Street (狸小路商店街).
The breakfast was great as well.
The only drawback was the parking situation — we had to park two streets away due to limited spaces, and it cost 2,000 yen per day. Fortunately, we found several nearby alternatives at a similar distance for about 800 yen per day.
Overall, it was a satisfying stay.

AAdamThe hotel is conveniently located right next to Nakajima Park. The park itself is beautiful, offering great sights, plenty of crows and ducks, and an overall wonderful environment. Right nearby is also the Junichi Watanabe Memorial Museum, which is definitely worth a visit. The hotel's breakfast was good, especially the salmon and curry soup.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located between New Chitose Airport and Sapporo city center. It takes about half an hour to reach Sapporo. If you're looking to shop, staying in Sapporo is more convenient. However, this hotel is a good option if you have an early flight the next day. The room had a very strong disinfectant smell; I suggest the hotel improves its ventilation.
11362175****The hotel's location is great, situated between Sapporo JR Station and Odori Subway Station. It's very close to the JR shopping area, Odori Park, and Tanukikoji shopping street, all within about a 6-minute walk. Right outside the hotel, to the left, is entrance #7 to the underground passage. Across the street is entrance #8 (which has an accessible elevator, very convenient for luggage). You can walk directly from JR Sapporo Station to the hotel via the underground passage, which is a big plus when there's snow on the ground and dragging luggage is inconvenient. This is an economy hotel, and the hygiene is quite good. Rooms aren't cleaned daily; for a three-night stay, it's cleaned once, but fresh towels are left outside the door every day. In the lobby, you can find skincare and toiletries, and garbage bags can be requested from the front desk. There's a Chinese staff member at the front desk who was helpful but never smiled, always maintaining a stern expression. Breakfast is served in the 2nd-floor restaurant, which also operates as an izakaya in the evenings. It was very mediocre; after three days, I was practically sick of it. It's a mix of Japanese and Western styles, and I wouldn't recommend adding it to your booking.
MMIN FEISapporo Hotel by Granbell offers a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which makes guests feel genuinely welcomed from the moment they arrive.
The hotel itself is modern and clean, with immaculate rooms that reflect great attention to detail. We booked a corner suite and were delighted to be assigned a high-level room with a fantastic view, which made the stay even more memorable.
Location is another strong point. The hotel is conveniently situated near Sapporo Station, making it easy to get around the city. Major shopping destinations such as Stellar Place, Daimaru, and other large malls are all within easy reach, perfect for dining and shopping.
One thing to note for travelers who are driving: although parking is available at the hotel, there is a daily parking fee for hotel guests. This is worth factoring into your plans if you intend to rent a car.
Overall, Sapporo Hotel by Granbell is an excellent choice for travelers seeking a modern, well-located hotel with friendly service and high-quality rooms.
EElisia LohThe hotel provides a shuttle bus pick-up from Sapporo Station (Bus Terminal), but reservations can only be made by phone call. Email requests are not accepted. We arrived on a Sunday, and the bus was already fully packed when leaving Sapporo Station, so it is best to book early.
The hotel itself is a little old, though the public area toilets appear to have been recently renovated. The public onsen pools are large and relaxing, but the stone tile flooring can be slippery from long use, so be careful when walking in the bath area.
The buffet has a good spread of dishes. I especially enjoyed the dinner scallop miso soup, handmade sushi, and desserts. The restaurant was lively and fully packed with both local Japanese families and overseas tourists. One minor downside was the seasonal fruit such as lychee. It would be better if the hotel ensured the fruits were properly washed before serving.
Wi-Fi connection in the hotel is strong and stable unlike the big spa hotel in lake Toya which I just stayed a few days ago.
