Glenview Cottages

The beds were definitely needing replacing. They were hard and mi e was dipped in so my leg fell asleep. Can see water dmg inplaces and mold starting. The hot tub doesnt look like it gets cleaned or shocked or chlorine put in it, you can see other ppls skin cells floating around gross its getting on you skin so had to shower right away. They didnt tell us hot tub and sauna closes at 8pm and kicked us out. Cabin was clean.

Lovely spot to stay while passing through Sault Ste. Marie in RV. 5 min to town, tourist sites and golf. Friendly staff in office abd welcoming to RVS.

We had high hopes that we'd have a cute little cabin for our stay, but it was closer to one of those cabins that you see in horror movies. The bathroom was moudly and musty, to the point that we had to keep the door shut to avoid smelling it. When we turned on the bathroom fan it got even worse, there were ants in the bathroom, and there was potpourri in there to try to hide the smell. Cupboards in the bathroom and kitchen were hanging crookedly, there was no hot water for showering - you only had a few seconds of hot water before the heater shut off. There wasn't a plug for the bathroom sink, so we had to stuff a wash cloth in the drain to try and do a light wash in the sink (since showers weren't an option with no hot water). The sinks in the bathroom and kitchen were rust stained and so was the stove. The curtains had burn marks, the fridge had a burned out light, it was missing a front step (that should have been our first clue how bad things were going to be 😶). The towels were stained, the couch was stained, the flooring was stained, the carpet was stained, the kettle was stained, the internet kicked in and out, etc. Some of these are only little things, but all together they add up to show how little care is put into maintaining this place. The only good thing I can say is that the beds were comfy and the roof didn't leak. If you're thinking of staying here, DON'T! It is way too expensive and you can get a much nicer stay almost anywhere else.

Great place to get away for a weekend

There are beautiful cottage, very comfortable rooms with all staff for cooking

I lived in SSM for 2 1/2 years and I’ve only seen these cute little cottages when driving north from town, now that I moved away I finally had the opportunity to stay at Glenview. These cottages, at least the one myself and my partner stayed in - were extremely clean, and very cozy. It had a full kitchen, queen bed, hot water on demand, as well as a dining room and lounge area with a TV. No cleanliness concerns, everything was great about our stay.

The location is not bad and surround are good. But room condition is not so good. Some equipment is too rusty and some places are not clean. I felt room should be upgraded within short period. The staffs are very kind and useful to introduce the city.
