"What a pleasant surprise! It’s always “hit or miss” with small motels, but this place was quite different. A complete revamp over the winter. New carpet, beds, paint, furniture…everything. I’m a stickler for detail and I noticed new towel racks, curtain rods, curtains, door handles. So fresh and clean. And a great price. If you’re a fisherman you’ll love the bait shop up front. Nice owner. This place is certainly worth the visit! We will be back!"

"The hotel itself is under renovation... so, construction, poorly marked entrance to the reception desk, and lousy parking. I'm sure it will be great when it's finished. The front desk staff acted like they didn't really want to be there. The hot tub wasn't working. But the casino area is really nice and the decor is great. We were unhappy to find that the only real restaurant closed at 9pm, so had to make do with deli sandwiches, but those were really good. Price reasonable for what it is. Might stay there again and hope that it's a better experience once the construction is complete."

"The hot tub and jacuzzi were not working the entire time we were at the location and we were given the option to find another hotel but since we came in at 10:00 at night that really wasn't something that we wanted to do. Breakfast was not very good, sausages were barely cooked and not crispy, eggs were less than tasty. People were standing outside the hotel smoking ********* and they were also some smoking inside the hotel. We were charged nightly for a safe that we didn't even know was in the room, we were told they only needed my card on file for incidentals such as damage to the room and it ended up being used to pay a nightly fee for a safe. Rooms are very outdated and beds were not comfortable. I would not recommend this location. Not sure how it got the high star rating that I saw online, had I known all of this I would have not booked our stay at this hotel."

The room was clean and odorless, and the towels were comfortable. Although there is no breakfast service, there is free coffee hot water, and there is a microwave in the public area. The overall feeling is good. The only downside is that the bedding is the sheets and blankets, and the comfort is low."
