Sawai Madhopur Hotels with Wi-Fi

I absolutely loved this hotel. It manages to combine feelings of intimacy, warmth and professionalism in a way that only great GM's and their teams can achieve. I'm late writing this review but Ratna Malhotra, the GM, leaves such an everlasting impression that her welcome feels like it was only yesterday. And she has a wonderful team - I sense carefully curated to ensure all staff deliver a message that guests are special. The tented rooms are wonderful and the whole place is evocative of a previous age but with great modern functionality. a luxury, but in many ways boutique style hotel, with fantastic Ranthambore on the doorstep. And yes, we did (eventually) see tiger. All of the Oberoi hotels we stayed on during this trip were fantastic - Delhi (food), Agra (Taj Mahal views), Udaipur (grandeur) - and all consistently achieve very high levels of service and accommodation standards. But the Oberoi Vanyavilas was the stand-out and I would recommend it as a special place to visit.

This place is a TOURIST TRAP hotel. Avoid The Vantage Haveli like the plague! Our brief 9-hour stay turned into a nightmare. We were compelled to choose this place for our brief 9-hour stay because we had to depart from our delightful stay at WelcomHeritage Resort. Regrettably, they couldn't accommodate us for an unplanned additional day due to being fully booked and unable to offer an extension. We reluctantly checked in, only to be charged us 1000 rupees for an experience barely worth a dime. The Room: The room was an utter disappointment, emitting nothing but unpleasant vibes. The owner: The owner, a cunning opportunist, seemed solely focused on taking advantage of tourists like us. The Location: Tucked away about 8-minute walk from the main road, this location was a logistical nightmare, leaving us stranded without local transport for a tedious 15-18 minute walk to find a decent meal. Mind you, if you request the opportunist owner to arrange for a transport such as Erickshaw, it will result in him adding a commission higher than that of the rickshaw driver's. The Food: And let's talk about the food – a complete disaster! The so-called ”red sauce pasta” arrived severely undercooked, drowned in an overly spicy Indian tadka that was unfit for consumption. The paneer paratha was even worse – a measly portion with hardly any paneer, overwhelmed by excessive pepper and salt. When we raised our concerns with the owner, he callously dismissed them, displaying a complete lack of empathy. Attached images serve as undeniable proof of our dreadful experience. Save yourselves the trouble and steer clear of this tourist trap. The owner's indifferent attitude only adds insult to injury. Don't fall victim to this horrendous choice. A very beautiful and expansive property, fulfilling the 'jungle mein mangal' phrase! Full of gardens, trees, fountains, and several nooks which are just beautiful. It is almost a mini town. Rooms are very spacious and spread across several compounds. A small cozy bar, what it might lack in terms of options, it will make up with the kind and welcoming staff. The dining halls, the open vistas, and the greenery around, make it a very nice stay. Having stayed in the property twice, once with family in April 2024, and once for an office event in August 2023, both times I was equally impressed. The front desk staff are very kind, the food is well made, the location is excellent, and the property itself is the icing on the cake.

This has been by far the most beautiful hotel with the kindest staff we have been to in our trip in India. Starting from the setting, beautiful garden with perfumed flowers where we enjoyed a stroll in the evenings, spacious room, swimming pool….the staff was incredible, we were the only non Indian guests and they always made sure we had everything we needed and that the food would be ok for us. Also, the buffet food was delicious. One evening they also had traditional indian music and dance in the garden. We recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a more traditional experience in a luxury setting.
