Very nice, good qality hotel with a good price ratio. Elevator, nice bathroom and sauna, great breakfast and quiet rooms made it comfortable and overall a very pleasant experience. Close bus service and parking lot, center of town in walking distance.

Very pleasant, clean, warm and well situated hotel with an excellent team who are happy to speak in English as necessary. We would have awarded five stars but for a petty (attempted) charge for a cup of hot water (for 1 x nightly malted bedtime drink) and the foreground view from our room of the very tightly packed caravan park associated with the hotel. A kettle etc in the room would be a nice touch. We didn’t use the spa but there were plenty of campers that seemed to relish it. Food was very good but as it was limited to a choice of two main courses each evening (no choice for starter or dessert) we would have appreciated an offer to upgrade to a la carte once or twice as “walk in diners” had what looked like fantastic dishes. Maybe we should have asked? Perhaps more importantly there is copious parking and a short, flat easy walk to the gondola, shops and main town square. Would certainly recommend the hotel, these small gripes notwithstanding.

This was our second time here and we will definitely be back! Spotlessly clean, incredibly friendly, cosy warm, ideal situation close to the centre but peaceful. Spacious room and bathroom. Super food, fresh and beautifully presented. The staff team are cheerful and so helpful. Good parking facilities and a meet and greet at the station. 100% recommend.

Wir haben in der ersten Septemberwoche unseren Urlaub im Hotel Zirngast verbracht und können nur Positives berichten. Unser geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer (mit 2 Balkonen) war sehr sauber, das Bett bequem und das Bad modern und neuwertig. Das Frühstücksbüffet war reichlich und von hoher Qualität; auch das Abendessen, (wir hatten Halbpension gebucht, aber auch mal à la carte gegessen) dass als 4 Gang-Menü serviert wurde, war vollkommen zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Die Lage ist zentral; die Zimmer an der Straßenseite somit etwas lauter. Der öffentliche Nahverkehr und das Stadtzentrum sind fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Absolut empfehlenswert!!

Das Hotel ist super, Parkplatz kostenlos dabei, die Zimmer sind großzügig und sauber. Das Personal und der Service sind toll, alle sehr nett, aufmerksam kmd zuvorkommend. Das Essen war Abwechslungsreich und sehr sehr lecker.

We stayed 7 nights with half-board and love this small hotel! Nice modern and renovated rooms (ask for a garden view room!), good breakfast (not luxurious but everything you need), very tasty and good value for money half-bord dinners (good quality food well presented, well balanced menues) and an impressive wine list (with focus on Austria) for this size of hotel. The location in the village is good (the nearby train track did not disturb us, the walk to the center of the village is short). The best thing is however the very friendly staff that makes you want to come back soon again!

Wij hadden een aardige driepersoonsfamiliekamer. De kamer was schoon. Een airco zou een aanzienlijke verbetering zijn. Het à-la-carte restaurant is gesloten. Als je half pension geboekt hebt, moet je wel voor 20:15u binnen zijn anders vind je de hond in de pot. De Sommerkart is echt fantastisch.

Good points: Fabulous Hotel, 700m from the ski pistes, Friendly staff, Super comfortable beds, Spacious rooms, Nice Spa area, Great food. I highly recommend this gem in Schladming. We were a group of 50. The hotel was patient with us and treated us very well. Many thanks Marcel and the wonderful staff at the Hotel and Restaurant Zirngast!
