Arctic Club Hotel

Best hotel breakfast I have ever experienced. Old fashioned hotel with a great staff. Comfortable beds and fantastic water pressure.

Excellent location. Great stay

Despite a security deposit that I was unaware of, it was still an enjoyable stay.

Wonderful trip, my son and I were very comfortable and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly, helpful and informative. Even Santa the valet had smiles and opened the door for us. Loved the room, it had an old school vibe that really matched the building. Might just be our new go to place to stay for downtown Seattle

The staff of the Arctic were all extremely helpful. Santa, the valet, was amazing! The complementary breakfast buffet is one of the best we’ve ever had! The hotel is close to Pioneer Park, the pier, the underground, and public transportation.

Rooms are only cleaned after 3 nights which was NO where in any information about the hotel, nor was it mentioned at check-in. Calling to ask - I was told the policy at 4 pm. None of the room consumables were refreshed until the room was made up - coffee, towels, trash removal, etc. The place seemed significantly understaffed

I’ve been to a few Oxford hotels and was over the moon to hear one was now in Seattle. It was suppose to be an upper scale hotel but unfortunately my experience did not meet the expectation. Let’s breakdown my experience a little bit: Rooms: comfortable and adorable. No issues. Outside factors like excessive noise from the city took away from my nights rest but not a complete deal breaker. Also why have to stereos in the room? I rather have none and a microwave instead. Breakfast: it was good not great. I was there a few nights and the good in taste was not consistent. Some days the food was very salty and other days it was perfect. Some days the water was overly infused (which I didn’t think was possible for me to say) I would have so much rather had plain water. But they wanted even the most simple thing to be “elevated”. Also staff wouldn’t acknowledge or greet. Which takes from the friendly atmosphere the rest of the collection has. Bar: Drinks were well priced and definitely tasted the booze which is what we like when getting an alcoholic drink. Food was well priced if it would be well executed. We ordered a hot plate but food was cold. Valet: this is my area of concern. I texted the number in the ticket and still had to wait over an hour. To receive my car. Out of the 3 staff members no one knew what the eta was let alone that I requested the car. Took another 20 mins for them to come and ask me what my ticket number was and what kind of car I have. There’s areas of improvement but when the experience does not match the price tag and misses it by this much? Yeah it’s concerning.

The Arctic Club is VERY clean and an excellent place to stay. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I would like to commend one staff member in particular. Victor the valet was and is very professional and extremely courteous and friendly, greeting everyone with a smile and a positive attitude. Another person working there but not part of the staff is James one of the security members. Even though he works for another company hired by the hotel. He was also very friendly and spoke to everyone and took his job seriously in a positive manner. GREAT job to both Victor and James they both go above the norm and stand out from their counterparts.
