we checked in we were given a room with no air conditioning. When we complained, we were given another room, that was very far away. We had to lug our bags ourselves, with no help from the staff. Despite the fact that we had a mobility challenged person. When we checked the website, it showed rooms at half the rate they were charging us. We spoke to the assistant manager, Christine, who was very matter of fact, and advised that there was nothing she could do about it. She was friendly but very loud. Everyone in the lobby could hear her response to my questions. I asked, very politely, to lower her voice. To which she said that if she needed to adjust her tone, the general manager would let her know. We checked out and found another hotel with better facilities and a much cheaper rate. I feel cheated and disrespected. They did not even try to assist us.
