The Travelodge offered a location that was hard to beat - right there near the iconic landmark that you can see from the corridors. They provide a little breakfast package with fruit, a granola bar and water which is a nice addition in times when most hotel charge absurd amounts of money for breakfast.
Unfortunately, that's where the positives mostly ended for my stay. The room itself is super simple and in need of an upgrade. While clean, the furniture seemed worn, and the overall impression was one of a bygone era. Thin walls made it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms, which disrupted a good night's sleep... For the price, I think other options in Seattle could offer a more comfortable and up-to-date stay. Unless location is your absolute top priority, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for your Seattle visit.

The staff was friendly and responded to my questions in a friendly manner. However, the equipment was noticeably outdated, the heating equipment was noisy, the water supply in the sink was out of order, and hot water was not available in the shower. At the very least, I think they can provide better service if they improve their facilities.

The hotel is conveniently located. You can walk to the Space Needle and the light rail station. The room hygiene is generally OK but could be improved. The traffic is noisy at night. Overall, it is a cost-effective choice. Recommended for short-term stays.

we checked in we were given a room with no air conditioning. When we complained, we were given another room, that was very far away. We had to lug our bags ourselves, with no help from the staff. Despite the fact that we had a mobility challenged person. When we checked the website, it showed rooms at half the rate they were charging us. We spoke to the assistant manager, Christine, who was very matter of fact, and advised that there was nothing she could do about it. She was friendly but very loud. Everyone in the lobby could hear her response to my questions. I asked, very politely, to lower her voice. To which she said that if she needed to adjust her tone, the general manager would let her know. We checked out and found another hotel with better facilities and a much cheaper rate. I feel cheated and disrespected. They did not even try to assist us.

The location is very centric, easy to move around city. The room was good for staying over a night, included little fridge, microwave, coffee maker and TV. The bathroom was ok, it worked for the necessary. Only comment its regarding several loud noises late at night coming from the hallway but nothing to worry.
