I stayed here as part of a business trip. I did not pick the hotel nor pay for it, so perhaps that colors this review a bit. Regardless, starting with the good: the lobby is nice, check in was easy, the staff was friendly, and the bed was comfy. The room had a... unique... personality. I liked it, but I could see someone saying the carpet looks like from the 90s or the wallpaper looks a bit gaudy. The shower had a lot of power; a bit too much for me, and there didn't seem to be a way to turn it down. My room was near the street corner, but I didn't hear much of the traffic outside and it was easy to sleep. So, what's odd? First, the only room service available is for the morning time and is apparently sent with housekeeping. Not what I would expect, and it caught me off guard when I dialed for some after a long day of work. What's the deal with that? Moreover, housekeeping will only make up your room if you ask the front desk. I have never seen a hotel do that before. I did ask for my room to be made up one morning and it was done by the time I got back at the end of the day. Reading through the other reviews, I'm clearly not the only one off-put by these facts. I would consider staying here again if room service was not restricted to the mornings. Sometimes, you just want to relax and eat something, especially after a long day.
