i had made a 2 night reservation at the magpie on alki. i emailed the owner about the possibility of rescheduling. unbeknownst to me, the owner gave our reservation away and rebooked the nights to another party. i had not heard back from the owner so i called him and he said he had cancelled our reservation. we agreed for a credit for another weekend. i called the past week and asked about the credit. the owner said that the place had been sold and that there were no refunds. he hung up on me. not impressed. turns out the place was for sale at the time we made our resevation. at no time did the owner ever tell us there was a possibility of us not being able to redeem our credit.
